Am trying to focus on the positives and realised we haven’t had a single cough or cold all winter and that’s even with DH and I working full time. One of the pluses of not being sneezed on by strangers in Tesco Grin

Late November.

I haven't had covid. I teach night school (not in UK) and had been going into shops as I wanted, lots are open. I expect I picked it up there, in spite of being masked up and doused in gel.

A year ago. Colds are shit for me as I have cough variant asthma and end up with a terrible cough for weeks after and need to use an inhaler. Would still go back to having colds again if it meant the pandemic was over.

higglepiggley · 09/02/2021 20:51

February 2019

Same for my 5 year old to despite being in school Sept to Dec

Allpassengers · 09/02/2021 20:52

Probably January last year (I don't have school age kids and we all work from home so that's probably why)

littlepeas · 09/02/2021 20:53

Just before Christmas - bad enough to stop me working. Not COVID (had test).

Alfaix · 09/02/2021 20:55

GintyMcGinty · 09/02/2021 20:55

Stationfork · 09/02/2021 20:58

  1. Nothing at all in 2020. Not so much as a sneeze. There's positives of this social distancing stuff.
Torvi · 09/02/2021 21:00

Last February

MoirasRoses · 09/02/2021 21:09

Loads. DD1 is still at nursery so bringing them all back.. I’m quite glad to be honest as it’s giving my 10 month old some exposure to illness to build her immune system. It’s so important to young children to be exposed to germs to build a solid immune system but she’s literally not been anywhere.. so at least she’s had several colds! 🙈

User7458 · 09/02/2021 21:12

About 3 years ago, I somehow always managed to miss the ones that went round work but most of my colleagues were quite young, many had young children, I think older people don't get as many colds.

SophieB100 · 09/02/2021 21:13

Last February/March.

Teacher here - high school.
Not so much as a sniffle since.

MummyOfThreeGirls · 09/02/2021 21:13

We all had the cold in August, haven't had one since touch wood

Howshouldibehave · 09/02/2021 21:16

I seem to have one continually working in a school! Even during KW only periods.

usernotfound0000 · 09/02/2021 21:17

Just before Christmas, and currently got Covid! Joys of a nursery age child. Although the kids have never been so well, DD1 suffers cold sores that she gets before an illness and it's been nearly 12 months since she's had one which is the longest ever for her.

HairyFloppins · 09/02/2021 21:19

Dec 2019. I got covid and if covid hadn't been on the news I would be convinced it was just another cold as the symptoms mirrored a cold for me.

TheChip · 09/02/2021 21:22

Now. I blame it on laziness the other night when it was bastard freezing. The thought of going upstairs for socks before walking the dogs felt like too much effort.
Lesson learned. I will never go out in the freezing cold without socks again.

Alwaysandforeverhere · 09/02/2021 21:22

Right now and February last year.

ComeONBridget · 09/02/2021 21:24

I've never had a cold or flu in my life (32 years)...

Bizarre! Get tonsillitis a lot tho.

MillieEpple · 09/02/2021 21:24

Over christmas and before that September

maddiemookins16mum · 09/02/2021 21:24

August 2018.

LubaLuca · 09/02/2021 21:26

More than 5 years ago, I can't remember exactly.

Buzzinwithbez · 09/02/2021 21:32

Despite licking supermarket trolley handles at every opportunity, I can't remember my last cold.

I have had a few bouts of sore throats that never turned into anything but that could be from drinking the handwash.

Literallynoidea · 09/02/2021 21:39

2019!

I'd rather have freedom and the odd cold than this though.
