Does anyone know the process for over eighties being called for their vaccine ? Do their GP surgery submit a list of names or is it done by NHS number or what or do they work down doing higher eighties first then lower ? My 83 year old dad has still not been invited for the vaccine, yet it seems most others in our village have ( I have been asking around friends etc ).

Anyone in private industry who proposed the flow of how to notify people would be probably moved projects, but to someone used to public service thinking I guess it seems quite reasonable.

I am CEV and DH is in his 70s but that link wouldn't let me book.

As to mobile phones we live in a mobile blackspot so a text won't reach me until I drive out of the village.
Even then they do get lost.
GPs and hospitals want your mobile phone number, so I do give it, but I insist they write a note saying please use landline or email.
Even then they still try to ring me on my mobile, then leave a voicemail, which I don't get....
I have solved this by changing my voicemail message to say
"This is Phymp, I have no mobile signal, please ring my landline".

There is another thread on this now with information. I can't link on phone but it is busy and should be easy to find.
