@StealthPolarBear

I just checked him, couldn't see anything new
It was in a reply to someone, not as a separate tweet.
StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2021 22:02

Latest was 21h ago about civil service awards. I suspected twitter didn't always show everything. How annoying.

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2021 22:03

Ah thank you. Makes sense and make mee less paranoid about twitter.

Health related datasets are notoriously hard to work with - been there done that and it was bad enough with just one local authporities data. I would expect it to be far worse when you're collating it from multiple sources nationwide. Wasn't it yesterday or the day before that the Scottish data was initally left out and added in later due to processing delays?

Tbh, ignore the headline data on deaths in any case. Always look at the 'by date of death' graph on the dashboard as it gives a better picture of what's happening.

itsgettingweird · 14/01/2021 22:12

Still nada. I doubt it'll be done tonight now?

Does anyone have a link to when the deaths are? As in yesterday's was sadly extremely high but we know they won't be all from yesterday. Just reported then.

itsgettingweird · 14/01/2021 22:14

Ignore that comment. Saw the one above after I posted and see it's in data dashboard!

BrokenCircle · 14/01/2021 22:22

Thefeep · 14/01/2021 22:23

PatriciaHolm · 14/01/2021 22:23

PatriciaHolm · 14/01/2021 22:25

Is it definitely 1248 then? (The deaths today.)

I have been waiting all evening, and got sick of waiting. So I don't have the TV on.

StealthPolarBear · 14/01/2021 22:29

Yes phe tweeted 1248 too

littlepattilou · 14/01/2021 22:29

MrsShelton · 14/01/2021 22:32

BrokenCircle · 14/01/2021 22:34

I wonder why the gov website hasn’t updated with the figures.

HermannlovesPauline · 14/01/2021 22:35

Great to hear how many vaccines today - thought a few might be cancelled due to the inclement weather up north

ceeveebee · 14/01/2021 22:41

@PatriciaHolm

The dashboard development lead has just tweeted that it's about 10 mins away.
He’s now saying “ The traffic is too high, and it's causing the database to take longer... Just saying!” So I’m going stop refreshing until he says it’s done!
amitoooldforthisshit · 14/01/2021 22:47

they just need more time to fiddle the figures

MrsShelton · 14/01/2021 22:51
