Hi

I wondered how long others have waited for results recently? I'm currently on 3.5 days and counting... Sad

5.5 days, then a call to say it was inconclusive. Waiting to be re tested 😏

BigGreen · 12/01/2021 23:32

We got ours in 13 hours!

This is what I'm fearing! I was gagging so badly I'm worried I didn't do the test well Sad

Few tests here with various members of the family all in London:

From 26 hours to 5.5 days.

Seems to be pot luck!

Frownette · 13/01/2021 04:31

The previous 2 were about one day of when they should have received it back (home test). I did one yesterday which should be back with the lab later this morning, so I'm playing the waiting game again.

3.5 days seems a long time, was it drive through/walk in centre? Or home test?

If it's home test, is it 3.5 days from when they should have received it back or 2.5?

Completely understand the impatience!

FallenSky · 13/01/2021 06:34

34 hours here. Walk through centre in London.

MangoM · 13/01/2021 06:38

Bang on 24 hours here.
Tested on Monday morning at a West Yorkshire walk in.

VolvoEagle · 13/01/2021 06:43

I was tested at a drive through centre in Surrey. I hadn't received my results after 3 days, so I called to chase. They finally agreed to investigate on day 5, and I got my result later that day.

DAC21 · 13/01/2021 07:03

20 hours, South East drive through

So sorry to hear people waiting for days, that's horrible!

Distiller91 · 13/01/2021 07:06

Mine were almost dead on 48 hours later
I hope you get them soon!

FromTheAshes · 13/01/2021 07:07

I've had 10 tests, all came back within 36-48hrs, but my test on Monday at midday came back at 11pm the same night! Got to be a record, surely?

SirSidneyRuffDiamond · 13/01/2021 07:08

Tested at 0900 yesterday and results back at 0200 this morning (negative). Walk through centre.

user2021 · 13/01/2021 07:13

Home test posted Monday, results on Thursday (about 3 weeks ago).

Thanks @Frownette , it was a walk in test. I chose it as id heard locally that people who'd been there had got the results back quickly..! DS1 had a drive through test 2.5 weeks ago and it came back 39 hours later

It's just frustrating having the time off work possibly unnecessarily Sad

This was a few days ago. Postal test ordered Saturday afternoon, delivered by Royal Mail on Sunday afternoon. Posted Sunday afternoon, results 21 hours later at 12pm on Monday.

Bigkingdom · 13/01/2021 08:16

I posted my test Monday lunchtime, still waiting.

Mydogisagentleman · 13/01/2021 08:20

I test weekly for work. The results have varied from 14 hours to 3 days.
All postal

Tiktokersmiracle · 13/01/2021 08:23

Berkshire, in November, DD had one which we got through the post. Taken Tuesday, sent back before midday, results on Wednesday at 7.30pm. I was rather impressed (was negative as well).

Birthdayhat · 13/01/2021 08:51

11 hours here yesterday! Test at 9am, results at 8pm - in the East Midlands. Drive through test centre, there were other people there but not loads.

HUCKMUCK · 13/01/2021 09:09

West Sussex walk in site - tested at 1.30pm on day one and got results at 11.30 am on day 2. I didn't see anyone else when I was there.

I guess it depends on how busy the lab that's processing them is.

Acidrain · 13/01/2021 11:07

Tested at 12 Monday, results at 6am Tuesday

Lockdowndramaqueen · 13/01/2021 11:13

Waiting right now, nearly 48hrs - drive through SE.

frustrationcentral · 13/01/2021 11:39

Now at 4 days and still nothing. 3 days of missed work and more of a worry for us is that my FIL is very ill in hospital so currently if DH gets a call to go up he won't be able to go Sad. I just want to know!

5 days to get a negative result. Isolating the whole time. Infuriating.
