I will miss paperchase if it goes :(

Doesn't Smith's have the Post Office in it in many places?
Anyway M&Co surely can't last long.
I buy all of my clothes online, I can't remember the last time I was in a clothes shop.

I buy all my books on kindle.

Hairdressers, at least decent ones will survive, same with beauticians you can't get anything they offer online!

I know all about upselling at the till, I used to work in Spar and we had to do exactly the same with whatever the item was for that week. We got disciplined too if we didn't sell enough, which is why I always try and buy it because I understand their situation.

By book magazines I mean the history ones I buy, usually cost £10 and are about a specific historical era or monarch, and things I'm interested in like Titanic, or the Vikings, and a few animal ones. I don't drink, smoke, gamble or even go out (I mean in non covid times) so they're my treat once a month or so.

I can't buy them anywhere else, except online sometimes and can't always afford the postage. So there are no other retailers to find, I've been shopping at WHS since my teens and it was John Menzies. I will continue to shop there for as long as it's stil there.
