I’m in tier four in the Midlands and my children’s school is fully closed except KW kids. There’s loads of schools off now.

Maybe he's putting it on for the Scottish kids, which had their lockdown announced a while ago.

But they've already announced that most of the schools are closed for the next couple of weeks. Seems like a good marketing strategy to restart his classes now.

I don’t think there’s some grand conspiracy.

1. Scottish schoolchildren are off and I’m not entirely certain but I believe Scotland has internet access and therefore can access PE with Joe.

2. Companies/Brands (and The Body Coach is definitely a brand) are reading all the same news stories and briefings we are and making plans accordingly - it’s obvious someone such as Joe Wicks will be planning ahead. With Scotland just announcing, the massive calls for school closure, and Boris’ upcoming “announcement”, it’s a reasonable guess that it’s going to be about schools closing (given there’s not much left that can be locked down!)

Yes we're probably about to go into lockdown. No that tweet doesn't mean that Joe Wicks knows things. There are enough children as it is (with Scotland and tier 4 and worried parents) at home to justify him restarting even without formal lockdown.

Joe isn’t the only one. Dr Chris and Dr Xand from operation ouch are doing science lessons daily from tomorrow.

Joe is actually quite late with his announcement considering school closures in the UK were announced on New Year’s Eve.

It was just a bit of a joke. Obviously there isn't a huge conspiracy. I agree thr writing is on the wall for England, but of course it could be for Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish kids (though why the 11th not this week). I just think this is so fascinating - the drip feeds and media testing stuff.

Obviously, I'm not exactly thrilled about having my mental health and finances destroyed again. But it's fascinating all the same.

I saw his post on Facebook and thought exactly the same. Joe Wicks comes across as a lot nicer than a politician and I would much prefer him updating the nation, at least he would care and he comes across as genuine and sympathetic. Plus he could do a live workout afterwards to cheer us all up and get the endorphins flowing.
