206 here. Up from 142 a couple of weeks ago.

OP posts:
Ihaveoflate · 19/12/2020 10:23

141 and still in Tier 3

Starlitexpress · 19/12/2020 10:25

396, which is shocking, though anecdotally, it would appear that most are asymptomatic school kids.

FlemCandango · 19/12/2020 10:26

290 after a steep rise we are now tier 3

RoseMartha · 19/12/2020 10:26

113 tier 2

shinynewapple2020 · 19/12/2020 10:28

@MsChatterbox

297 is most definitely not the highest in England. There is somewhere , a borough in Kent I think that's over 600.

My area is around 200 as are neighbouring authorities . Numbers came down well during lockdown but seem to be stabilising around this amount for around a week now. We are tier 3. Interesting though that the area over the border about a mile from my house which is in T2 now has higher numbers than we do .

ChasingRainbows19 · 19/12/2020 10:29

153 tier 3 forever and restrictions prior to that, it’s starting to slowly increase already after spending a couple of weeks on the downward trend.

SueEllenMishke · 19/12/2020 10:33

My ward is 79 but we're still in tier 3.
It's a joke

I live just between Swale 751 and Canterbury 613. We’ll be staying in over Christmas 🙁

itchyfinger · 19/12/2020 10:36

50 - t2

TimeForLunch · 19/12/2020 10:36

625!!

Username7521 · 19/12/2020 10:40
  1. It’s almost doubled in a week. Tier 3. It’s spreading like wildfire. We’re meant to be seeing family over the Xmas break but don’t know if we should. We’re going to the covid symptom free unit at some point today to get tested.
Stokey · 19/12/2020 10:40

@TheAnswerIsCake can you tell me what your acronyms stand for?

We're really high, nearly 600/100,000 over the last 7 days, and higher apparently among Y5-Y8. Was just saying to dh that earlier this term when school bubbles closed, it was a teacher or TA who was positive, but now it is the children. I know several children both primary and secondary who have tested positive in the last week.

@Weedsnseeds1

116, just been released back into the Scotch Egg zone.
What is needed is a Far Side Scotch Egg cartoon

Here’s an ordinary egg one

shinynewapple2020 · 19/12/2020 10:42

@TheAnswerIsCake
Figures I've quoted are based on the look up tool on BBC app. This uses local authority areas rather than wider council areas

I haven't been able to get the interactive map which shows individual ward areas to work for ages .

Assume the point of the thread was to see differences where individual posters live

ClinkyMonkey · 19/12/2020 10:43

138 in Lisburn and Castlereagh council area. No tiers here. If you want to see even more incompetence than Boris and his buddies, take a look at the Stormont executive. The DUP and Sinn Fein are bickering like 9 year olds over whose fault it is that we need a six week lockdown from Boxing Day, following on from a watery, half-baked, no-bloody-use lockdown in November/December.

The DUP, in particular, don't appear to listen to the scientific advice because they're all about business and money. Half of them believe the world was created 6000 years ago, so science is irrelevant ... unless you need a life saving operation of course. We are screwed.

Runwayqueen · 19/12/2020 10:45

68 in tier2, risen from 36 two weeks ago. One of the largest hospitals near by is on black alert

ceeveebee · 19/12/2020 10:46

118, up from 85 last week, stayed in tier 3 which now looks like the right decision

TinselToedElf · 19/12/2020 10:46

220ish and in tier 2.

Goneback2school · 19/12/2020 10:51

25.7 in the two weeks up to the 14th Dec. It's gone up since then.

itsgettingweird · 19/12/2020 10:58

117 here in 13th U.K. from 80 a week before.

Last few days have seen sudden rise (outbreak somewhere?).

We are tier 2 bordered by 2 new areas gone into tier 3.

ifonly4 · 19/12/2020 11:04

124 in tier 2. Numbers have come down a bit in last two weeks, but numbers are going up in surrounding local authority areas.

I don't envy those at 900/1000!

DishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 19/12/2020 11:05

We're 120ish tier 2
Several places in kent are over 700 per100000, 290 looks relatively low in comparison!

sar302 · 19/12/2020 11:07

289, up from 87 at the end of second lockdown! Not surprisingly we went into tier 3

Roominmyhouse · 19/12/2020 11:07

660! I’m in Kent Sad

HollyJollyDillydolly · 19/12/2020 11:12

186 - tier 2
