I have been contributing, just changed my name to prevent being outed over something!

When it is all working perfectly Ocado offers are calculated by the day you order them not on the delivery date. So if an offer comes off between you ordering it and it being delivered it will be honoured. Any offer that comes on in that time will not be acknowledged unless you notice and remove and re add it. This applies to bundle offers as well. The problem with these is that if you change any one of the elements once the offer has stopped then you lose the whole deal.

But there are glitches, so eg you need to watch that Flash sales don't go up to full price in your order even if you don't touch them.

Oh thanks. Sorry, i thought delivery date was factored in - perhaps other supermarkets do that. Anyway that's stupid if that's causing glitches! I can never keep up with what was on offer...

Most recent order was delivered on Tuesday during heavy snow. Local roads in awful condition after snow on Monday had frozen overnight.
I was surprised that the delivery wasn't cancelled. Lovely cheery driver who nevertheless must have been concerned that he would be snowbound in my village.

Order itself - Several unavailable items, although all fruit and veg delivered as ordered. Once again a few damaged items. I think I need to find an alternate supplier for items that keep turning up damaged.

Made a small discovery last night. I was browsing Hotel Chocolat products and realised I'd not logged in. When I did, 90% of the products disappeared .

Ignore me. 90% of it was hidden as OOS in my area. Boo

Anyone else's app playing silly buggers? Won't let me check out and when I've gone and checked out on the website it's still showing as soon editing in the app.

Dont know about the app as I'm not that honoured, but there was a queue for the website just.

My last order was a bit of a disaster, One bag full not delivered because a bottle had broken over it. And 3 items missing not subbed: bagels, naans and mango. Not great. So nearly half the order didn't arrive leaving me with orphaned meal ingredients and needing to shop.

Very glad I have a reserved slot - no idea what’s coming in this weeks delivery as I can’t get online to edit/view it, but with a neighbouring area currently highest in Wales, I’ll take whatever they give me if it means I don’t have to go out!

Is anyone else who is supposedly a priority customer finding it impossible to get deliveries?

I am so fed up with Ocado, they put the smart pass charge way up, but I can only get one or two deliveries a month, despite the fact that I am shielding and totally reliant on deliveries. They are hopeless.

I’m also expecting them to cancel my four weeks worth of reserved slots again....

The same thing happened to me. Van box missing from order that happened to include all refrigerated meal ingredients and lots of substitutions and omissions. The worst order we’ve had with them. They refused to redeliver the missing items even though it was a third of the shop.

0 deliveries coming after Wednesday. Ah well.

You're still allowed to grocery shop and covid case numbers were just as bad yesterday/last week etc. Would the lockdown really have made lots of people change to online grocery shopping where they hadn't before?
I've never really been able to get a slot with any other supermarket, at least, not far in advance enough to put my mind at rest.

Yes, I expect some people are panicking, and I think I read that some vulnerable have been told to shield again, but I expect there is another group of people that suddenly need to cater for family lunches.

Combine this with people trying to do their first big shop after Christmas/NY.

I'll try again in a few weeks (glad I had a boring shop delivered last week).

I've just been on to edit tomorrow's delivery and had a bit of a flashback to see the dreaded virtual queue! Only waited a few seconds though.

I unflounced and booked with them again because I know I’m going to want M&S food. No queue at 5:30am this morning.

Everyone who is in shielding has been asked to shield again. We laughed ironically as a shielding letter from the 24th only arrived yesterday a few hours before Boris said theyd be sending us all a letter.

Yes, my sympathies with those shielding - my friend who is shielding has basically been doing it since Sept when numbers started going up again. I hadn't thought about family lunches either (and I've got kids!)
