Do you believe 2021 will be better?

I’m just asking this for reassurance tbh, not that anyone on here has a crystal ball.

I know that covid will not go away, there will still be cases of it and hospitalisation but do you think in 2021 we will be able to wave goodbye to social distancing, mask wearing and all the restrictions?

Surely there will have to be a day were Boris says the restrictions/lockdowns are over for good and aren’t coming back again.

Even the WHO have said they think it will be over in under 2 years so not sure where people are dreaming up 5 years from. 🙄 We won’t need to worry about “protecting the NHS” in 5 years, there won’t be one left as no money to pay for it!

It won't be 'over' in 2 years. The virus is here to stay, it won't be eradicated like small pox.

The question is how and when we learn to live with it to return to our normal lives.
