He might be having very intense negotiations with leaders of Scotland, Wales and N Ireland. He might be trying to agree how to extend financial support to businesses forced to close and people laid off, whether to bring back furlough, etc, etc. I don't envy him.

@cologne4711 they should have data analysts on this. Of course, you have to have cases at a manageable level to do this. Patrick Vallence said as much in the spring and he was absolutely right. I think this is the thing, as amusing as this thread is.

They've killed thousands of people by failing to put the right things in place. They thought they could continue to feather their own nests and ride it out until a vaccine comes.

And they're right.

If they're not outright murderers they're certainly guilty of, I don't know what the legal term might be really. Medical manslaughter or some kind of human rights abuse? Who knows. But tens of thousands did not need to die.
My heart breaks for everyone whose loved one died alone; it's proof now that it was really all for nothing.
