Haha! When I had paramedics here the other night they asked my DH if he had any symptoms, and he said only a mild cold - they said well into bed with you at once, this could be serious!
It was very amusing but I wasn't laughing much at that precise moment, I thought it was curtains for me.
I've felt pretty good all day - have to keep the paracetamol going, and stay laying down, I have jelly legs and get extremely dizzy standing, but that's OK I'll take that over the previous abject misery. Much of the crippling, electric shock head pains and drilling into the spine, hip and knee joint pains have eased.
The cough is becoming a bit more bothersome, it's very persistent, tickles constantly and I can't take a deep breath in. I've noticed laying on my side with my head tilted forward and down aggravates it less. I've got some Benylin but it doesn't do much and besides, as it goes down I can feel it turning me Covid bowels to water 💩💩
I really hope this is me on the turn though. A friend said his 30 year old neighbours were taken to hospital today - and my boss says he's got a mate whose been in hospital for 2 weeks already. I casually googled the Covid cough to see if there are breathing methods to feel more comfortable, and chanced across a very matter of fact clinical and practical study of a 38 year fit healthy man who died with fully congested lungs on day 8.
Yeah I should've stopped that one really, especially as I watched it when I was feeling pretty ill...
