I'm undecided. Would you?

Absolutely yes.

Namechangedforthisoct2 · 22/10/2020 05:46

No way!!

CrunchyCarrot · 22/10/2020 06:02

Not enough information to say yes or no.

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 22/10/2020 06:04

Yes, definitely. As soon as possible.

Thisyearcandoone · 22/10/2020 06:10

Not a chance!

MiracletoCome · 22/10/2020 06:12

Undecided at the moment

WouldBeGood · 22/10/2020 06:17

Undecided too. I’m very pro vaccination but in this case worry the vaccine risk might outweigh the risk of the illness.

Hyperfish101 · 22/10/2020 06:18

To those who won’t take the vaccine.,,,assume this means you’re happy to continue to live like this then? If we want to get back to any semblance of normal, a large proportion of the population will have to be vaccinated.

Aposterhasnoname · 22/10/2020 06:20

I’d be front of the queue. Wish I was able to join the trials.

MrsFoggy82 · 22/10/2020 06:21

Absolutely! If not just for my own protection but for others, my DH is based in care homes, my DF and MIL are both elderly and one in a nursing home and the other heading that way and with two young children doing various activities and preschool the exposure is huge.

In fact we are both signed up as volunteers (haven't been called up).

So it's a resounding yes from the Foggy camp.

User43210 · 22/10/2020 06:22

Nope. I'm pregnant and there's not enough evidence of what it could do to the baby in the long run.

After birth, probably. But I would read about it and make my decision.

And this.

I have a friend who regularly rants on Facebook about how we should be in lockdown till there’s a vaccine, then in the next post states that all vaccines are evil and we shouldn’t take them.

Bouncycastle12 · 22/10/2020 06:24

I’m counting the days

DoctorYang · 22/10/2020 06:27

No.

I'm not happy to live like this, but I'm not happy to take any vaccine either. But the Oxford one properly licensed I expect so, yes.
tinkerbellla · 22/10/2020 06:28

Yes I'm so ready! Obviously once approved etc.

Pixxie7 · 22/10/2020 06:33

I am very pro vaccine and think that people who refuse are incredibly selfish. So yes.

Would you take a rushed vaccine though? It has to be done right. I would rather one extra year of restrictions than a scandal.

I am not selfish, that is a very simplistic view.

iVampire · 22/10/2020 06:47

I don’t know if I will be able to (ECV, living with leukaemia) as attenuated live vaccines are usually contraindicated for me. A vaccine which uses an attenuated strain as a carrier has not yet been definitively ruled in or out

So it really does depend on which types reaches roll out

larrygrylls · 22/10/2020 06:48

Yes.

Replace a 1/1,000 risk (plus a 1/4 risk of being quite ill for quite a while) with a 1/10,000 (or far less) risk of a serious vaccine side effect. Not even a question.

With the added boost of helping others and improving the economy Anyone who would not take it would need to have a very good reason for me to not just consider them an ignoramus.

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 22/10/2020 06:53

The Oxford vaccine, probably,’if properly licensed. Probably more so to protect those around me

ForTheLoveOfDoughtnuts · 22/10/2020 06:54

No, I'm currently pregnant though, so I'm sure it wouldn't be offered to me.

CaraDuneRedux · 22/10/2020 06:58

Hell yes.

In fact I signed up for the Oxford trial but wasn't called to take part.

And if that's the stance the government take, that's thinly veiled forced vaccination.
TobblyBobbly · 22/10/2020 07:04

Yes
