There's an exemption for chauffeur-driven cars.

So whilst Downing Street has been "making masks available" and "advising" ministers should wear them, he hasn't actually broken any rules.

I mean, it's ludicrous, of course. But still, really, WGAF? I can't be arsed to care. There's so many worse examples.

This is the first I'd heard about the exemption. Wonder what the rationale for that is?

How has what GMP Stretford did relevant?

Matt Hancock is not, and has never claimed to be, exempt from mask wearing for medical reasons.

I think we should all go out wearing Matt Hancock masks tomorrow.

Yes you are the health secretary in charge of directing ever increasing restrictions on a sceptical public.

He should be above reproach but then he did think nurses didn't give out vaccines, so hardly the sharpest knife in the draw.

Cummings and his wife spread Covid to the north, and now Hancock spreads it around to the chauffeur and everyone who used the car. Now you know why Manchester and Lancashire, plus Birmingham, Liverpool etc are full of Covid, and London is now tier 2. Way to go, Tories (sarcasm).
