Neighbour having constant parties

ReginaaPhalange · 17/10/2020 13:52

Neighbour who lives behind me has a pub/cabin in their garden. Today there is at least 9 people from different households in there watching football and drinking.

They do this all the time - every weekend and it is beginning me frustrate me.

Would you ignore it or call 101?

OP posts:
TiddyTid · 17/10/2020 13:54

I'd report.

Yamaya · 17/10/2020 13:55

Tbh, I would probably report if it kept happening and there's no way they will know it's you.

lughnasadh · 17/10/2020 13:55

Ignore it.

ReginaaPhalange · 17/10/2020 13:56

@Yamaya it's every weekend. They have never complied with the rules from day 1

OP posts:
Mindymomo · 17/10/2020 13:58

Yes, I would report it.

toxtethOgradyUSA · 17/10/2020 14:32

Focus on your own life and approach to the rules OP. You'll be a lot happier.

Ilikewinter · 17/10/2020 14:38

As its every weekend I would report it

LilyPond2 · 17/10/2020 14:38

My only hesitation in reporting it would be if it will be obvious the report has come from you, as the fact that your neighbours are behaving like this means that they are obviously unpleasant selfish people with no respect for the law.

YellowOrangeRed · 17/10/2020 14:39

Report it.

RedMarauder · 17/10/2020 14:41

I would be reporting it due to the noise.

Mother40 · 17/10/2020 14:42

Report it.

yawnsvillex · 17/10/2020 14:42

Where do you live ... I'm coming over to join in the fun

Jesus worry about your own shit!

luckylavender · 17/10/2020 14:51

@toxtethOgradyUSA - there's no 'approach to the rules'. You either comply or you don't. None of us likes this but we need to buckle down, get through it & not make it worse.

luckylavender · 17/10/2020 14:52

@yawnsvillex - it's everyone's shit. And the sooner we all realise that, the better it will be.

toxtethOgradyUSA · 17/10/2020 14:55

I wouldn't be partying right now, but I certainly wouldn't be dobbing others in for doing so given how ludicrous and inconsistent the rules are. It's pretty pathetic tbh.

3littlewords · 17/10/2020 15:01

I'm in a tier 3 area I'd be pretty pissed off if my neighbours were doing this constantly. If in tier 1 and they're in the garden the only "rule" they are breaking is the rule of 6 isnt it? I can't keep up with the rules these days out of my local area it changes that often

PollyPelargonium52 · 17/10/2020 15:15

I would report.

AwaAnBileYerHeid · 17/10/2020 15:16

"worry about your own shit!".

As a pp has said, it's everyone's shit. People not complying with the rules is why this virus is spreading to people who are "worrying about their own shit" and acting responsibly. It's why things like christmas may be impacted. It really isn't a you do you type of situation. I am perplexed as to how people cannot wrap their heads around this. Is it a lack of understanding about something that has already been laid out in the simplest of terms? Or is it more of an 'I don't give a shit about anyone but me'type of thing?

yawnsvillex · 17/10/2020 15:53

Because @AwaAnBileYerHeid the measures that have been in place for the last 6/7months don't work

I am equally baffled by how anyone can blindly follow these measures expecting them to work.

YellowOrangeRed · 17/10/2020 15:57

The measures ARE working to keep the virus under control. When people follow them. If they didn’t work then R0 would still be 3, and it’s about 1.5 now.

Newwayofthinking · 17/10/2020 16:00

Where in the country are you?

Burnthurst187 · 17/10/2020 16:08

Glad your not my neighbour
Newwayofthinking · 17/10/2020 16:10

Some areas don't have as much lockdown

hypochondriacseveywhere · 17/10/2020 16:20

If it isn't obvious you've reported it definitely report them.

MajesticWhine · 17/10/2020 16:32

I would ignore it.
