How many cases per 100,000 in your area?

I have become slightly obsessed about checking the figures in my area each day. We have 7 per 100,000 which I think is pretty low. What are the numbers where you live?

Deelish75 · 05/10/2020 19:15

Last week we were on 15, we’ve now gone up to 22.

In a week, ours has increased from 100 to 160. Despite local lockdown. 😣

Dottyandbet · 05/10/2020 19:50

160 which is worrying. Nearest biggest city’s figures have gone up hugely too to almost 400.

Outnumberedwoman · 05/10/2020 22:45

Ours has now hit 534. Just climbing all the time.

roarfeckingroarr · 05/10/2020 22:48

I don't feel concerned.

Blownaway22 · 05/10/2020 23:10

533.6 to be exact, and rising daily.

  1. Could be worse!
SqidgeBum · 05/10/2020 23:30

In SW. Ours is 32 per 100k, so very low compared to most places. If they do like Ireland is doing and implemented a nationwide form of lockdown, I would be fuming.

EmmaWithTheGreatHair · 06/10/2020 19:24

Ours has lept up from 54 to 124 Shock - Cheshire East

Monstermissy36 · 06/10/2020 21:20

92 norfolk

Sadless · 06/10/2020 21:23

992.5 per 100k in the North West but not as bad as Blackburn with 2059.6 per 100k.
We got 64 cases today and last week it was 8 per day it seems to be going up quickly here now.

We aren't in any local lockdown and have 92 cases in a time of just under 100k....

Does anyone know the threshold for being put into a local lockdown?

Monstermissy36 · 06/10/2020 21:26

Town

Egghead68 · 06/10/2020 21:29

Sadless, are you sure that’s right? Blackburn is only showing as 228 per 100,000. Manchester is the highest in the country at 562
beenrumbled · 06/10/2020 21:30

222 Shock

Randomschoolworker19 · 06/10/2020 21:55

Manchester here with over 500. You wouldn't know it though with how everyone is breaking the local lock down rules.

A boy in my class recently had 17 friends over for his birthday party yet schools are Covid safe....

I've literally given up all hope. I've already accepted I'm going to get it and get ill. What chance do us school staff have when we've been thrown under the bus like this...

Sadless · 06/10/2020 22:00

I got it from lancs.live if I have read it right.
