How many cases per 100,000 in your area?

I have become slightly obsessed about checking the figures in my area each day. We have 7 per 100,000 which I think is pretty low. What are the numbers where you live?

Buttybach · 27/09/2020 21:35

35 out of 100,000 is 0.034999999999999996 of the population and we are now on local lockdown

Link says 227 but our director of public health stated earlier today it’s now much higher at 252 so highest in country

You need to be a bit more precise in your wording OP. The BBC link is how many cases reported during 7 days 16-22nd. Or are you talking about how many cases in the last 24 hours?

I'm fortunate enough to live in an area with a low rate, and just seen that numbers have gone down in the last week reported.

Ginogineli · 27/09/2020 21:44

Liverpool positivity rate now 12.8% tho I don’t know anyone who’s got it and everyone is pretty chilled

  1. Been in local restrictions since end of July at which point the rate was 35 so it’s working out really well...
reesewithoutaspoon · 27/09/2020 21:48

227

ceeveebee · 27/09/2020 21:51

Our local council publishes all the rates for all the English boroughs and according to them there are no boroughs with zero cases? Strange!
Are you sure the sets you are looking at is not more localised eg a ward rather than a borough?

Polgara2 · 27/09/2020 21:54

206 according to that link

Okbutnotgreat · 27/09/2020 21:56

1 East Cambridgeshire

ceeveebee · 27/09/2020 22:04

Think the bbc link is slightly out of date - it goes to 22 September. The link I posted goes to 25 September and has slightly higher rates for done if the areas mentioned above

Ginogineli · 27/09/2020 22:15

Yes ceeveebee yours is a more upto date link 👍

zigzagbetty · 27/09/2020 22:15

@ChristmasinJune I was surprised it was so high but then just seen images in the local paper of kicking out time in the city centre at 10pm and can see why!

I know exactly which ones you mean and yes it's depressing isn't it.
