Just wondering if anyone has had their results back the same day? Tested 9am...... have I got any hope of having them back before the morning?

I would say wishful thinking.

I’m also currently wishful thinking too!!!

stayathomer · 23/09/2020 18:32

Had ours back the following afternoon if that helps?

missanony · 23/09/2020 18:33

Currently on hour 78...

Lumene · 23/09/2020 18:34

Also approaching hour 80...

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 23/09/2020 18:35

Yes it's possible had 2 tests in my family come back well within 24 hours

OverTheRainbow88 · 23/09/2020 18:37

@missanony

Ah how annoying!!

If ours takes that long we will miss the flu jabs!

I think If they don’t get their testing shit together people will stop bothering.

We had to drive a 3 hour trip to wales to get a test.

Are you in England?

ShellsAndSunrises · 23/09/2020 18:37

It’s possible, but the average is supposed to be 93 hours right now, which probably suggests very few are being turned around that fast.

OverTheRainbow88 · 23/09/2020 18:37

@thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter

Was that recently?

We had one about 2 months ago and that was less than 24 hours but now it seems much longer

A guy at my work did a test at about 5pm last night and got the results at 8am today

Yes, one this week and the others a fortnight ago (we're in the NE England)

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 23/09/2020 18:43

Tbh we were surprised too and were actually warned it was a 72 hour wait.

missanony · 23/09/2020 18:44

Yes, in England. I’m regretting doing the test

Maycavy · 23/09/2020 18:45

I tested at 8.30 am Tuesday and had results back this morning at 4.20 am! Was very shocked at how quickly it was processed.

CallmeIT · 23/09/2020 18:45

36 hours for me at the weekend: tested 10am Saturday, result 10pm Sunday. I was told it would “hopefully” be within 24 hours and “probably” 48. What did your testing site say?

FridayNightAtTheBronze · 23/09/2020 18:46

I got my sons back this afternoon. He had the test yesterday evening, so it was less than 24 hours.

Theforest · 23/09/2020 18:47

I know someone that had it back in 4 hours. Tester told me within 24 hours at the drive through today, but who knows!

OverTheRainbow88 · 24/09/2020 06:26

@beckypv

Had them?

Still waiting here

Talia78 · 24/09/2020 06:56

Mine too 18hrs

Lumene · 24/09/2020 07:03

Still waiting on results from Sunday - over 90 hours now.

Lumene · 24/09/2020 07:04

@missanony do you have your result yet?

OverTheRainbow88 · 24/09/2020 07:05

Ooh ours just came through negative- so 23 hours!!

AllThatGlistensIs · 24/09/2020 07:20

We waited 58 hours for DDs (drive thru test). Got the email at 11.38pm last night and the text message this morning at 6.47am 🤷🏻‍♀️

BlueGreyGreens · 24/09/2020 07:24

87 hours and counting for one. Got the other after 62.

So envious of everyone getting them back quickly. I'm so stressed about having to miss another week of work/school if the one we are waiting for doesn't show up.

Thelongdarkteatime · 24/09/2020 07:24

We got ours within 13 hours but that was two weeks or so ago
