Birmingham on Lockdown

Just been announced Birmingham going to be put on a local lockdown. Infection rates less than 100 per 100000. 7 in intensive care. Doesn’t seem like the nhs is on the brink of being overwhelmed?

Also, there is not a 2m rule anymore. It's 1m, but 2m where possible.
There is actually a 2 metre rule which can be reduced to 1 metre plus mitigating factors (e.g. 1 metre + a mask).
