Boris and his illness

When Boris first contracted COVID he isolated himself at Downing Street then when he came out of hospital he went to his other home in the country.

Do you think this is right or should he have returned to Downing Street?

Who cares? It's done now.

Apolloanddaphne · 31/08/2020 17:28

God sakes -- like this wasn't thrashed out on about a million threads at the time! Don't really care tbh.

Bluntness100 · 31/08/2020 17:28

Eh? What does it matter where he recuperated?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 31/08/2020 18:13

Lazy hack

itsgettingweird · 31/08/2020 18:41

He should have just gone into permanent hibernation isolation.

Who cares where?

Barbie222 · 31/08/2020 18:51

Thought this thread might be about him still claiming he's ill. There's been a drip feed that he might stand down after Christmas before he's taken down due to being useless ill health due to long Covid.

Callipygion · 31/08/2020 19:00

If there was any justice, he’d be in the queue at the job centre!

CokeEnStock · 31/08/2020 19:03

I'm more concerned why other people surrounding him haven't been sacked for giving contracts to their mates and otherwise performing in an incompetent manner.

toomanyspiderplants · 31/08/2020 19:13

considering he was very ill I think wherevery he felt comfortable

InFiveMins · 31/08/2020 19:19

Unpopular opinion but I don't think he ever even had covid, so where he went afterwards is irrelevant to me Grin

Kaktus · 31/08/2020 19:20

Who cares Confused. What difference would it make?

Redcrayons · 31/08/2020 19:25

Technically he was supposed to be in his main home, but honestly Where he went to recuperate doesn’t even make the top 10 of terrible things Boris has done during the pandemic.

It was months and months ago. Move on.

lljkk · 31/08/2020 20:47

I didn't think there were restrictions on people 3 weeks after diagnosis. Does anyone know if he tested negative or positive at this point?

At the time, travelling to second homes was technically not allowed for anyone.
Port1aCastis · 31/08/2020 20:54

The man's a Grade A twat and I wish he'd disappear and stop fuckin up the Country as Cummings stoogie boy

Noextremes2017 · 31/08/2020 21:08

Seeing as there was nothing wrong with him anyway it didn’t really matter where he went.

I expect ‘nanny’ was looking after him all the time anyway.

cashewsoralmonds · 31/08/2020 21:57

No one would expect that he followed the rules about anything. There should be an outcry but over far more serious things that he has done. OP why do you raise this now when they are so many far more dreadful things? Do you think this is worse than anything else?

PiataMaiNei · 31/08/2020 22:00

He probably needed to test his eyes.

Raelle · 01/09/2020 10:38

I just thought that no one was allowed to stay anywhere other than their main home during the lockdown.

Boris and presumably Handcock issued loads of rules that people had to follow.

Lots of elderly people were forced out of hospitals in to care homes where they died although I don't know who is responsible for that.

I just wondered if there was a special rule for him and why no one even from the Labour party has asked him about it?

There was also that poor family who were denied access to their dying son in hospital and weren't allowed to go to his funeral I think.

Do we know if his partner and new born were waiting for him at his second home?

I just seems unfair to me.

Oh fgs, are you suffering from brain delay?

10 Downing street is the prime minister's office, there was no need to stay there when he wasn't working.

Elephantday82 · 01/09/2020 18:34

🙄

ChaChaCha2012 · 01/09/2020 18:39

10 Downing street is the prime minister's office, there was no need to stay there when he wasn't working.

It is his home (strictly speaking the PM lives above 11 Downing Street.)

Do people honestly not realise there's a four bed flat up there? It's bigger than most of our houses.

Topseyt · 01/09/2020 19:27

Who gives a shit? This was months ago!

EvaHoffman · 01/09/2020 19:30

Maybe he was Kite flying?
