When Boris first contracted COVID he isolated himself at Downing Street then when he came out of hospital he went to his other home in the country.

Do you think this is right or should he have returned to Downing Street?

"Who gives a shit? This was months ago!"

I was thinking maybe the all those people who lost family and friends, maybe those in the COVID19 Bereaved Families Group. Do you not think they deserve an answer?

It's practically the only thing he's done that I think was entirely reasonable. He couldn't get away from work entirely at Downing Street. He was very seriously ill. Most of us don't live at the office.

It's possible that it was for security reasons, or privacy, or he may have had medical staff with him, who needed to stay close by, and Downing St might not be big enough for that.

I despise a lot of what he's done since becoming PM, but I can't get worked up about this.

There is so much more he has to be criticised for, but he should have probably returned to one property and stayed there.

If I wanted to gauge general support levels for the Bereaved Families Group I'd start a thread like this.

@ChaChaCha2012

10 Downing street is the prime minister's office, there was no need to stay there when he wasn't working.

It is his home (strictly speaking the PM lives above 11 Downing Street.)

Do people honestly not realise there's a four bed flat up there? It's bigger than most of our houses.

Yes I do realise that. It's still his workplace.
