Got tested this morning and waiting on the result. Feeling a bit jumpy & struggling to sleep. I don't feel ill at all but DH feels like he has a heavy cold.

have had a sore throat and cough ( cough only in the mornings oddly) for a few days but seems erkl to get a test. Had my temperature checked at the pub yesterday and it was 36 /they said 38 is their cut/off for refusing entry.

I can’t believe you thought it was ok to go to the pub with a sore throat and a cough. Let’s hope you don’t have it!

By August UK government want to get to 500,000 tests per day.

Sounds exactly like my hay fever symptoms.

CarlottaValdez · 25/07/2020 10:01

Sure, mine too. It’s an absolute pain in the arse.

ineedaholidaynow · 25/07/2020 10:18

But if you don’t usually have a sore throat and a cough and it has just started surely you would get a test rather than go to the pub.

Tests particularly of children are probably going to ramp up when schools go back for the new term.

I’m Pretty Laid back about it all but I wouldn’t be going to a pub with a new cough! My my opinion that is irresponsible.

Even when I had a diagnosis of tonsillitis I stayed home for 2 weeks as it gave me a temperature.

Kitcat122 · 25/07/2020 10:38

My initial Covid symptoms were low grade fever 37.7 and just feeling achey, cold and unwell so it's impossible to know if you have it or not. Test is the only way its annoying but symptoms are so varied.
