@Alex50 if you had been 10stone heavier and this had been shoved in your face countless times and you know damn well you can't loose 10 stone within a week how would you have felt?

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 03/06/2020 18:00

No @Alex50 we wouldn't want you to lower yourself. Christ only know how much lower you can go than pointing fat people to an article and suggesting that they'll probably die but it will be their own fault for not making the lifestyle choices you think they should make.

So much better than using a naughty word. (That's sarcasm by the way just in case you didn't catch that)

And there are other ways to start a reasoned debate rather than drop a load of goady comments.

“Oh I had no idea that this particular issue that has been plastered over the media was such a hot button topic!”

There have been several really good threads on this topic (ignoring the multitude of goady threads just like this one). Ignoring posters who have engaged in good faith in favour or holier-than-thou comments is shitty behaviour. And then the gaslighting head tilt of “oh if you’re upset by my shitty comments it’s because i’ve touched a nerveHmm

You don’t want to “express yourself” any other way here apart from to be a goady twat. So I shall give this thread the exact engagement it deserves:

Cunt cunt cunty cunt cunt.

Alex50 · 03/06/2020 18:00

I would do something about it, no you can’t do it in a week but you have to start somewhere, the only person that can do this is you.

@Dyrone that did make me laugh 😂 even if it is rude

@Alex50 yep you're right. But this has been shared and discussed thousands of times on mumsnet. It's just not needed again!

dobbyssoc · 03/06/2020 18:08

@Alex50 in addition if you truly have lost that much weight how can you not know it would be an emotive subject.

SparkLee · 03/06/2020 18:17

I'm obese and furloughed. I have tried so hard to lose weight over the 11 weeks I have been off work and it's so fucking hard. About 3 times I have lost and gained weight, and now I'm actually heavier than what I was before lockdown 😖😖 I'm so disgusted with myself but I don't know what to do eating is like an addiction to me.

@ByGaslight - what factors do the risk calculator tools take into account? Is there any way a lay person could get hold of them
