Some people seem to actually be enjoying the Covid19 shitshow. They revel in pointing out the death rate in the country and how "we are the worst" . They want us to all wear masks, not to go out, heaven forbid we should go to the beach.....fucking lunacy. I am sick of the party atmosphere when they clap for the carers, the economy is fucked. There is nowt to celebrate.

Oh yeah @EnlightenedOwl thank God we allowed Cheltenham etc to go ahead, didn't close our borders until...when? 2 weeks from now? Waited... is it 3 months in to implement track and trace? Yes. Thank God we've kept our heads. We're doing swimmingly. You're right. Apologies. I thought it was a cluster fuck

I'm a big racing fan I love Cheltenham. Sorry but to lose Aintree and Cheltenham would have been catastrophic the economic damage is bad enough as it is. This is the reality

Ok. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think our Gov't have fucked up royally. You appear grateful for their keen instincts. We'll probably never get on the same side of this but that's ok

There are definitely certain posters who appear to be getting a kick out of leaping on other people's threads and posts and being incredibly rude about them. Up they pop on every thread which doesn't fit exactly with their opinion. I can only assume they're able to do this because they spend a vast amount of time on MN, trawling through threads and winding themselves up about stuff. Not very healthy really.
