He dodges things like this normally. I'm not sure he is worse than normal as I have never witnessed an impressive or decent performance from him. Just ducking, diving and looking shifty.

Am struggling with the whole amazing parent thing as I've been relying on following the rules and phone calls from specialists to keep us going. Still, if only i'd been a better parent, eh. Will know for next time and wouldn't have stayed in for a month because he couldn't face walking and I didn't want to drive unnecessarily.

I've actually had a soft spot for Matt Hancock throughout this. He's made mistakes. But he does appear to listen. Certainly considers what people are asking. Doesn't make up stuff in the spot and says if he doesn't know.
