Jeez. People are allowed out. Plea plea can sunbathe. Camera angles make a huge difference. Who decides who is 'allowed' to the beach and who isn't. You?

Sharpandshineyteeth · 25/05/2020 17:13

Exactly what loads of people said on here after the VE celebrations. That never happened, numbers continue to drop.

rollerkiwicat · 25/05/2020 18:04

All the public loos are shut on Brighton beach. It reeks apoarently.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 25/05/2020 18:11

This second wave never seems to arrive, does it?

SusieOwl4 · 25/05/2020 18:11

Whatever your opinion of DC .he did not break SD rules at any time .unlike the media outside his house .in fact he did not break the guidelines at all as there are provisions on the gov website about children and it was mentioned in briefings. Mn has had literally hundreds of posts about people actually breaking sd rules just because they wanted to !
Apparently Weston supermare A&e are closed as they have had an increase in cases .all because people want to take the freedom but ignore the sd bit. It's not rocket science.

@SpencerReidsMistress well if he can interpret it like all that and he tells us what to do, then sod it! We've waited long enough, this is so hard and no one can tell us off now. Let's go see grandma and get an ice cream. (Many many people)

EveryoneLoves09876 · 25/05/2020 18:15

I agree people are desperate for an excuse but this is poor timing. I'm surprised more people aren't still scared though.

EveryoneLoves09876 · 25/05/2020 18:17

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight

It's too early. Of course it's coming, just like the first one did and everyone thought they were too clever for that too. 🙄

This second wave never seems to arrive, does it?

Confused

I don't think we've finished the first one yet!!

stuckindoors77 · 25/05/2020 18:52

It's odd though, this country is absolutely stuffed full of gorgeous places to go for a walk, lakes, parks and forests and countryside as well as plenty of coast.
I've never really understood why people all want to go and squash up on the same stretch of beach. You couldn't pay me to go and sit there, even without the virus Shock

bettertimesarecomingnow · 25/05/2020 19:01

My beach today. Social distancing not a problem!

Oh that's gorgeous bettertimes . Where is it ? Don't worry am in Scotland therefore going nowhere.

pfrench · 26/05/2020 21:11

I went to the beach today. I don't think we got within 5m of anyone else. More like 10m really. Easier to socially distance there than in the park in my village, or on any of the nearby walks.
