I already had my reservations about installing an app produced by Dom’s former Vote Leave mates, but this disgraceful behaviour seems to have cemented that. Low installation rates of the app is certainly way to revolt against this shit show.

Alternatively, when the phone operator rings up to say that one of your work colleagues has tested positive, you need to go into unpaid isolation, I think we’ll tell them to fuck off. Or just go to Durham.

I would have downloaded it, as I thought it was in all of our best interests. I’m now not sure. I have lost faith that Boris is acting in the interests of the country, and don’t trust what he says about the safety of data.

No. there are several other apps that Boris and his associates could have chosen. These are apps that other democracies are using and that are already proven to work.
Developing a new app from scratch was not the only option, and from an objective point of view it made absolutely no sense to do this rather than use an existing app.

They will always put personal profit over public safety. They turned down ventilators made by UK companies that were ready in favour of Dyson. Dyson hadn't even started to make them, I understand they turned out to be unsuitable but I bet he still got the money. He doesn't pay tax here. He is a Tory party donor

And actually, by developing an app from scratch, the government is causing this lockdown and disease to go on longer than necessary.
