He’s a twat

Cailleach1 · 25/05/2020 16:59

Talk about power without accountability. Bypassing the electoral system. Bending around rules.

SabrinaThwaite · 25/05/2020 16:59

And why on earth did he think he could go back to work with a wife that was showing symptoms? What part of 14 days self isolation if anyone in your household has symptoms is not clear?

AlecTrevelyan006 · 25/05/2020 17:00

I hate him

SouthWestmom · 25/05/2020 17:00

His time?

Can I go to Durham Boris?

Nah mate, not a good look

Two minutes?

to avoid injury or illness or to escape a risk of harm.

I think this is the one he is citing. He believed there was a risk of harm and they would be safer in Durham.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:00

This is a good time to use the "I didn't think I'd get caught" get-out.
One of my personal favourites

Roussette · 25/05/2020 17:00

Just say SORRY, man.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 25/05/2020 17:00

He’s taking the fucking piss

snowballer · 25/05/2020 17:00

I just knew this was going to do the exact opposite of calming the storm...

Agree with PP who said there's clearly evidence of the barnard castle trip and they've tried to head that off before it becomes public.

tootyfruitypickle · 25/05/2020 17:00

Laura K always asks weak questions . And Beth has been outstanding throughout pandemic

minou123 · 25/05/2020 17:00

"Anger is based on false reports in media"

He just confirmed everything reported in the media was true. So no, people arent angry based on false reports. We are angry because it's TRUE.

itsgettingweird · 25/05/2020 17:00

Saucery Grin

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:01

Questions to ask: Why did your wife lie in the Spectator and suggest you were in London the whole time?

Do you seriously expect us to believe you can drive 260 miles without stopping for a loo break for a 4 year old?

Why are not apologising for transporting an infected person half way across the country?

Why did you break the rules that say that those living with an infected person should remain at home and not leave for 14 days?

Saucery · 25/05/2020 17:01

He really didn’t like being reminded that the Prime Minister = His Boss.

YogaLite · 25/05/2020 17:01

So he is the puppet master after all, all those decisions he has to make.

ToffeeYoghurt · 25/05/2020 17:01

I hope the lack of testing for his family doesn't indicate the tests we have (in the UK) aren't very accurate? If anybody would know, he would.
After all we know we've had false negatives. Did he not bother because of this?

And put a Durham hospital at risk by bringing the child to hospital when that child should have been in London.
Perhaps people like him shouldn't have put Londoners at risk. Other people brought it into London. It didn't magically appear there. People like Cummings who travelled across the UK. Many of the MPs in fact. Potentially coming to London from an area (possibly Durham) infected by ski holiday returnees.

Durham hospitals were equally at risk from all the international travellers, potentially travelling when infectious given the UK lack of border restrictions or checks.
What Cummings did, given the lack of proper international quarantine, is irrelevant.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:01

We are expected to believe he drove a 60 MILE round trip to test his impaired eyesight at SAME TIME as we are meant to believe he took his child to Durham for his child’s safety? A man who drove his child in a car when he couldn’t see properly?? House of cards. Tissue of lies.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:02

So it was the best idea not to let the PM know that his special advisor was doing a runner when the PM had so many important things going on.

Fucksake

Everytimeref · 25/05/2020 17:02

The big boy made me do it.

tootyfruitypickle · 25/05/2020 17:02

He drove at night and 4 year old could have been asleep in pull ups. That’s the only bit I believe !

snowballer · 25/05/2020 17:03

Don's eyesight testing story is the new Prince Andrew sweating story.

Roussette · 25/05/2020 17:03

He keeps on about false stories. I don't know any false stories. Everything that I have believed is true.
And more

SouthWestmom · 25/05/2020 17:03

Having questions was a really good call. He's failing now.
