How on earth are they allowed to do this?!?! Watching the news, and they're all rubbing shoulders with each other AND DON'T SAY IT'S IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST! THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC IS PARAMOUNT.

OP posts:

Tory bots, what's your opinion on them?

^

Lostvoiced · 25/05/2020 06:28

Well if it's their instinct and they're doing it with Tory brand Integrity and they're parents then apparently it's okay.

I dont give a shit any more, because neither do the government.

I'm still staying home, but the government has lost all credibility to tell others to stay home when they treat it as optional.

whocanibe2day · 25/05/2020 06:44

I personally will do whatever the fuck I feel like as of now.

Smileyoriley · 25/05/2020 10:47

@whocanibe2day me too. No 10 and that clown can go to hell.

EstherEliza · 25/05/2020 13:07

Tory bots? What does that mean?

TheGreatWave · 25/05/2020 13:10

Stop trying to deflect from the actual story.

Moondust001 · 25/05/2020 13:11

-the paparazzi not social distancing could be viewed as a public service-

I can't believe I just thought that, but I'd never say it.

strugglingwithdeciding · 25/05/2020 13:26

Not even comparable to using your instincts is on that's laughable
The press have been awful throughout

BigChocFrenzy · 25/05/2020 13:29

The press don't make the law
So they are like any other bod not social distancing

Government make the laws that the rest of us obey
So when their mates ignore the laws, it angers many people who've sacrificed to obey the rules

BigChocFrenzy · 25/05/2020 13:30

The police would now have problems telling the press to disperse

Police say Dominic Cummings controversy will make lockdown impossible to enforce

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/05/24/revealed-police-spoke-dominic-cummings-father-twice-260-mile/

Senior figures fear that lockdown policing is 'dead in the water' and that the public will rely on the 'Cummings defence' when challenged

PleasantVille · 25/05/2020 13:34

There's been roadworks near me recently and every time ive got past the workman have been huddled together about the same distance apart, not every job can be socially distant.

BigChocFrenzy · 25/05/2020 13:35

So you condemn the press
Now what can you find to condemn the former chief constable of Durham ?

Former chief constable of Durham police. Mike Barton

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/may/24/defence-of-dominic-cummings-is-shameful-says-ex-durham-police-chief?CMP=twtgu&utmmsource=Twitter&utmmedium#Echobox=1590323927

“It is clear he has broken the rules. It could not be clearer.
I cannot think of a worse example of a breach of the lockdown rules.
For it then to be defended by the government just beggars belief.”
......
“What is particularly sad and undermines completely the government position is
they seem to be operating in a bubble of self-privilege and denial
when they all should be leading by example.

‘Hypocrite’ was invented for these circumstances …
Of course it is double standards.”

Barton added:
“It feels like feudal times.
We make the rules and it is for you, the great unwashed, to follow them.”

BigChocFrenzy · 25/05/2020 13:37

Oh and "Paparazi" just do sleb gossip

The PM's chief adviser ignoring the rules that the government make is NEWS - not gossip
