Is this intentional? It will lead to the mass abandoning of lockdown as it's farcical and they can get the economy going again whilst never having really made the decision (after all, the "track and trace" pillar is never going to be satisfied).
If there is a second spike (actually starting to look unlikely) there'll be deniability ... "it's your own silly fault British public for coming out of lockdown before we said you could".
Anybody else think the timing is interesting? They created the hysteria, massively over egged it and now urgently need to wind it back, good way to do that is to convert it to anger and mass non compliance!
