Where to purchase antibody testing?

I know there have a been a few threads about people having bought the testing kits, I’m just wondering where you bought them from so I can do one?

Happy to be messaged if people aren’t comfortable.

I know they are not accurate completely, and I understand the statistics. We will repeat it once a month and comply with all NHS testing etc. For our current situation the cost is worth it. We bought ones from the private barely street guy but they didn’t turn up, twice and we were refunded.

Does anyone know if the Treated.com test is the Abbott test? It isn't clear from the website. Thanks!

Yes it is. I did it. Came quickly, results in 48 hours but sadly negative.

I’ve just ordered one from a company that I have used before for online blood test .
I paid £59

So odd that so many seem to be coming back negative though people have been properly poorly.

Egghead68 · 22/05/2020 20:09

Yes I think maybe only one Mumsnetter has reported a positive antibody test.

Not sure if you meant me Egghead but two young family members of mine have received positive antibody tests this week (abbott blood in vial test)

When do we think a general member of the public will be offered anti body tests? Would they use pharmacies to distribute? Understand only 60% of people who order tests for home send them back,

What is wrong with people! Maybe it’s because it is free, maybe they are trying to sell them.

So in mid March I was poorly for 2-3 weeks (cough, temperature, sore throat, headaches, no energy - ended up on antibiotics for secondary chest infection). Just got treated.com AB test result - negative. I'm shocked.

I am scared of that exactly @AppleBlossomTimeNow that's why I haven't tested for antibodies yet. I had a very covid-sounding illness in early April but what if the test doesn't pick it up due to that error margin?Do you think it might have been a false negative?

AppleBlossomTimeNow · 31/05/2020 14:55

I don't know - I'm really perplexed!
