Just a Yes or No thread there are hundreds on the ins and outs of this.

This morning I read that Matt Hancock is claiming support for an extension is strong amongst the public but that’s not the impression I’m getting from social media

So, will you stick to the rules if lockdown in the UK is extended for another 3 weeks

Yes!

Biscuit0110 · 28/04/2020 13:26

Yes but there would need to be a clear exit plan, and I could not in all honestly say I could continue beyond the last extension.

bumblingbovine49 · 28/04/2020 13:26

Yes of course I would

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 28/04/2020 13:28

And please - can someway be found to open barbers and hairdressers

Not sure how this one will be got round easily. Can’t cut hair from 2m away. Do miss the hairdressers though, one thing o can’t do myself properly.

Yes.

But I'd like clearer information about the difference between meeting up and chatting to a friend/ family member across a distance more than between me/the next person in the Asda queue - and - being able to go to a B&Q/McDonalds/whatever else is open for non-essentials.

I want the economy to pick up and for shops to open, but that feels like a relaxing of certain rules, while you're not allowed to go sit in an open space in your family group (beach/park etc) or to sit in your own back garden/ your parents, sitting far apart but chatting.

Graffitiqueen · 28/04/2020 13:35

Not sure. If i was to break them I'd take my kids to see my parents and stay in their garden 2m plus away. So still keeping us all safe but technically breaking the rules.

What is the likely fine for driving hundreds of miles?

Ellmau · 28/04/2020 13:40

there might be a lot of moaning but we’ll do it anyway.

Isn't that traditional Britishness?

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 28/04/2020 13:40

EricaNernie · 28/04/2020 13:41

somebody chose to drive less than 100 miles to their second house to check on the state of it, and allegedly had a £1000 fine, but i dont believe that to be true, frankly

Snugglepumpkin · 28/04/2020 13:42

Well, I am still working so cannot comment on lock down I guess. To be honest if I was in my room all day, I would definitely have murdered the idiot in room One of the flat.

There doe snot seem to be clear info at the moment. A colleague went into a Sainsbury's and there seemed no lack of people. When she went to pick up some salmon, three other people were jostling her!

I read one journalist moaning about Tesco's selling flowers when they should open markets! Can you imagine trying to keep people in line for that! In any case Tesco have been selling flowers for some time!

We certainly need proper details of what is ok and what not!

bushtailadventures · 28/04/2020 13:44

Yes

BilboBercow · 28/04/2020 13:45

I'll do it but i'll moan about it. Lockdown is starting to impact my mental health now

Oliversmumsarmy · 28/04/2020 13:45

Yes. In some respects I do want to get on with moving forward but equally how we have been living in lockdown isn’t too much difference to how I live my life anyway.

Difference would be if they closed click and collect at Diy stores. Then everything would stop
