Serious question

OP posts:

Dunno but I'm intrigued to hear!

I've always wondered, if the government was using vaccines for population control or whatevers, why put it in the vaccine? Why not in the food chain or the water supply? If they're trying to kill you (it's not working very well is it) why do it in a way that is avoidable...

kimlo · 18/04/2020 19:12

sedation so we all stay insode when they change the batteries in the birds.

aladyofinderterminateage · 18/04/2020 19:13

If you were serious about harming the whole population, you would use the water supply.
We have a very good spec water filter and have done for 20 years. Grin

Many people are concerned that the usual rigorous safety tests aren't being adhered to. That doesn't mean that think anything untoward is being put into the vaccine.

A vaccine for dengue fever was developed in the US. When they gave it to children they discovered that it actually caused a much more serious infection than if they hadn't been vaccinated. The scientists hadn't "put anything" into the vaccine it was just s feature of the vaccine that hadn't been anticipated. That's why they need to do adequate testing - to establish safety and efficacy. Why would anyone be against that?

blubellsarebells · 18/04/2020 19:21

Heavy metals, mercury being one.
Bits of dead babies.
Bits of pigs.
The coronavirus has been man made so they can vaccinate us all with tiny micro chips that will be controlled via 5g.
Seems far fetched seeing as most of us are carrying devices that can track and record us anyway ie mobile phones.
There is already a vaccine programme here so they could put the chips in the mmr or vitimin k? injection they give babies as soon as they're born.
Im starting to wonder if some of the nuts spouting this nonsense have been affected in some way.

Geepipe · 18/04/2020 19:47

Mercury. Pure unadulterated mercury.

tilder · 18/04/2020 19:49

@Hearhoovesthinkzebras please can you provide a reference for this?

dustyphoenix · 18/04/2020 19:56

Eh?! You don't need to be a conspiracy theorist to think that relaxing the usual rigorous safety testing around a vaccine in order to mass produce it might result in a compromise to the health of those it's being injected into. I'm not an anti-vaxxer by any stretch, but I can totally understand why people have concerns. Can you genuinely not see why people might not rush to be included in the first wave of recipients??

I'm assuming you're talking about coronavirus vaxxing here, rather than your run of the mill anti-vaxxers btw.

tilder · 18/04/2020 19:57

@eenymeenyminyme fuck knows. All of the above? Its like they come up with any excuse not to have it.

I wonder how long that position lasts when the consequences of covid get worse/drag on.

My mother thinks it will all be over by July. I can't see it being over until we're all immune (recovered or vaccinated) or enough of the vulnerable have died and transmission has slowed dramatically. I know which of those options I prefer.

I shudder at the idea of an overly involved state, but I would not be surprised if having evidence of anti bodies and/or proof of vaccination ends up a requirement for all sorts of stuff. Such as international travel. Public transport. School. Etc.

LonelyInLockdown · 18/04/2020 20:01

Mercury. No thanks.

KeepWashingThoseHands · 18/04/2020 20:02

conspiracy potion

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 18/04/2020 20:03

Puréed newborns obviously or drowned kittens.

This current situation is what the world looks like without a vaccine for Covid 19, do you reckon they like it? They have been awfully silent lately actually

OhioOhioOhio · 18/04/2020 20:04

I'm not an anti vaxxer but what was the medicine that caused thalidomide? And why?

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 18/04/2020 20:05

Chips, so when you go through airport security you will beep. Beep Beep!

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 18/04/2020 20:06

I'm not an anti vaxxer but what was the medicine that caused thalidomide? And why?

Ahem! There was no medicine that caused thalidomide?

Didyousaysomethingdarling · 18/04/2020 20:07

I saw this on another site today... The horrific track record of Bill Gates' vaccination programs. Skip to 1:06 to miss the ads:

CayrolBaaaskin · 18/04/2020 20:08

Tbf there is real injury caused by vaccines but it’s obv very rare. The swine flu vaccine seemed to (very rarely) cause narcolepsy. There are claims it was rushed. Generally though vaccine complications or harm is very rare and it’s hard to establish conclusively it does happen.

There are risks in everything tho and I will be having the vaccine as soon as available. Could do with some more sleeps anyway...

Ulver · 18/04/2020 20:10

The problem is that in the US they were using old vaccines that contained mercury.
Also cheaper multi vaccines while Europe had developed better, safer cleaner individual vaccines.
So we are affected by the fall out of old/redundant vaccine issues in the US.

JasonPollack · 18/04/2020 20:10

Ooo a YouTube video! How factual.

Thalidomide was the medication @OhioOhioOhio

OhioOhioOhio · 18/04/2020 20:10

Are you sure? I always thought it was a secondary effect of a drug given to pregnant mothers?

bilbodog · 18/04/2020 20:10

Thalidomide was caused by an anti sickness drug given to mothers who were suffering during the first 3 months of pregnancy in the 50/60s.

winniesanderson · 18/04/2020 20:11

@OhioOhioOhio The medication was called Thalidomide. It was prescribed for morning sickness in pregnant women.

Ulver · 18/04/2020 20:11

I'm not an anti vaxxer but what was the medicine that caused thalidomide? And why?

Ahem! There was no medicine that caused thalidomide?

It was an anti nausea drug for pregnant women.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 18/04/2020 20:13

Thalidomide was the name of the medicine, the medicine was for morning sickness and it did indeed cause anomalies in the babies development.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 18/04/2020 20:14

Ahem! There was no medicine that caused thalidomide

Yes. There was no medicine that cause thalidomide.
