Tesco queue at midnight?

Been logged in since 23:45. Got a slot fine last time but I've been stuck on the queue page for 45 mins. How long does it take on average to get through?

Elderly and vulnerable can get slots very easily once Registered with the government vulnerable list.

I'm registered , and can get a slot within 24-48 hours

I woke up at 2.30 and couldn’t get back to sleep so did a quick check and amazingly I got a slot. Other than that no luck at all for weeks, even doing the midnight thing. What time do they release slots in the morning?

I’ve given up on Tesco but lots of slots for next Monday for Asda at midnight and click and collect too, which were still available when I checked at 7am

I stayed up till half two but nothing. I think it depends on your area. Up until now I've managed a weekly click and collect but been trying for three nights now to get the next

I've been getting slots for a few weeks both for myself and for my mum, so logging in under two accounts. My observations are:

  • Log on as early as you can, maybe about 11.45 and you should be nearer the front of the queue. I got one tonight about 12.05.
  • They seem to be releasing one slot a week per account. I had one booked on a Monday but some were released randomly during the week. I couldn't see any under my account but there were loads on mums and she hadn't already got a slot for that week.
  • I've been getting my shopping online for years as I'm so far from town so have an established any day of week delivery saver account with them. This may make a difference but I'm not sure.
  • Slots are also randomly released through the week, not just the midnight ones, so it's worth keeping checking.

The first time I tried going on at midnight I was in the queue for 45mins. Weekends seem to have longer queues than week days, even logging in early.

I've had a lot of luck three times now by logging on at midnight, closing the app each time it says I'm in a queue and opening it again, because although it says it refreshes I've never seen it do so, no matter how long I wait.

Not sure if it's helpful but just to say that not all Tesco slots are released at Midnight. I've been lucky to find them when checking at 6am and 1:30pm so it is worth checking the app throughout the day if you don't get the ones at night.

Presume people who forgot to check out when they managed to get a slot
