What is your other half doing whilst in lockdown? Do they think they are on holiday? Or are you a lucky one and I just a sucker.

My hubby is getting up at 930. Going to gym in garage. Bath jacuzzi at noon. Lunch for himself at 1. Nothing for rest of day apart from pretending to be on laptop. Playing PlayStation, watching tv.
Me: working at home in normal job. Home schooling 2 kids. Feeding kids. Cooking dinner for family. Housework. Is it me or are some of partners thinking this is holiday for them.

SAHM and single parent so doing everything and haven't properly seen or spoken to another adult in weeks. I am going out of my mind with it feeling suffocated and have broken down numerous times.

I'd rather this than what you have!! Basically that would be chucking a bloke in to look after and laze about the house making more mess?! I'd see red.

He's treating this like a break because it flipping well is if you're at home, not working with your own personal slave!

I'd switch it tomorrow. Act like he's not there - like you're an actual single parent. Do your job, cook for your kids, home school your kids. Don't do anything for him. I get that you're trying to avoid an argument but action speaks louder than words in these cases.

Kick him out, you'd have less work to do

Why isn't he cleaning and cooking?
Why isn't he homeschooling his children?
Why are you tolerating this for a minute?
Why does he think it ok to treat the woman he loves like a skivvy?

My dh has been a superstar!

He has decorated the porch and kitchen.
He has painted his beehive.
He has gardened and baked and cooked and brought me tea in bed every morning.

He has also played guitar and watched box sets on Netflix.
