First day of sun, music blaring

From neighbours garden, I mean blaring, as if anyone is selfish enough to believe everyone wants to hear their choice of music.

Have absolutely no problem with children playing.

Still going on. Three hours now!

I feel your pain, thankfully my ndn moved away , she used to turn the music up full blast and then go out , leaving everyone else to listen to it!

We had the endless pressure washer then the music from our neighbour today

Incessantly barking dogs are the thing which spoils my enjoyment of the garden. There didn't used to be badly trained barky dogs on our road but in the past two years two have materialised. Really does detract from everyone else's enjoyment of their gardens.

I can see that if someone played music really loud outdoors and especially if it was rubbish music that'd be just as bad.

My immediate neighbourhood is mainly full of retired people, so we don't get loud children or loud music. In nice weather we usually get the sound of a lawn mower, or my short tempered next door neighbour shouting at his family.

Still going!

My neighbours are cunts as well. I invested in a huge disco speaker from Costco. If I reach the end of my tether I play my own music and it’s guaranteed to drown theirs out. If they’ve been absolute twats then my choice of music is the Stick Song on repeat.

VivaLeBeaver · 04/04/2020 22:02

One of my neighbours lets their teen son ride his trail motorbike round and round the garden for hours. Garden is about 30ft square and they live in a terrace house with neighbours surrounding them.

I have a much nicer time without having to listen to my neighbours music, or the football commentary on full blast.

It makes it impossible for me to relax in my garden or read a book outside.

I've never asked them to turn it down. It just means in 15 years of living here I've barely spent any time in my beautiful garden. I just go inside and close the windows even if it's 30 degrees outside.

Our neighbour has decided to build a home office from scratch in his garden. Power tools and hammering all day every day since Mother’s Day. It’s really getting us down now as we can’t use the garden.
