What does everyone think of 5G?

What do you all think of 5G?

I've heard so much about it but don't quite get it. I have so many questions.
Is it safe, does it cause cancer, is the lockdown to place 5G satellites everywhere,

I haven't scrolled through all the comments but something isnt right both with the COVID19 and 5G. I have been watching stuff by scientists regarding this virus. The symptoms are too generic, scientists should be able to isolate the virus and inject it into a sample and the symptoms should be pretty much the same. Another thing, we all have viral/bacterial genetic material in our bodies, so the testing doesn't mean its accurate. From what I've gathered, the body produces something called exosomes which are produced as part of the immune response to anything from illness to stress, These look exactly like the COVID19 virus. Also the 5G has been rolled out just before and during this lockdown , it has been happening around areas close to me. I have read and listened to information saying that if 5G is on full whack of 60GHZ it prevents oxygen being absorbed by the body. I think it's up to everyone to decide what their truth is.

mindproject · 08/04/2020 14:19

It's absolutely fine to spout bollocks, mind. It's not fine to insist people take it seriously.

Where have I insisted that people take my opinions seriously? I don't know what the truth is, I'm trying to find out what the truth is because I do not trust the propaganda machine. There is nothing wrong with that. You can believe whatever you want, as can I.

Frequency · 08/04/2020 14:22

I'm confused. If 5g prevent our bodies absorbing oxygen wouldn't the scientists and engineers who developed and tested it have suffocated before they could share their development?

Lonelycrab · 08/04/2020 14:22

Where have I insisted that people take my opinions seriously

But you’re arguing the importance of free speech when right now in this country people are starting to smash stuff up and engage in violence because of their views, which according to you are completely harmless Confused

mindproject · 08/04/2020 14:35

None of us here, sitting in our homes, can prove if 5G is harmful or not. I will remain open minded about it

This is my opinion on 5G, this is my opinion I gave upthread. But somehow you are linking that to the behaviour of criminals who are smashing stuff up. Can I see your evidence of people smashing stuff up and how my fence sitting about 5G has led to that?

Lonelycrab · 08/04/2020 14:40

www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/apr/06/at-least-20-uk-phone-masts-vandalised-over-false-5g-coronavirus-claims

Telecoms engineers being threatened, apparently this has also meant that emergency services have been affected too.

mindproject · 08/04/2020 14:44

And how is that connected to my fence sitting?

mindproject · 08/04/2020 14:47

We need completely independent studies into 5G before we go ahead with it. So we can say one way or the other. Why isn't that being done?

JustAnotherPoster00 · 08/04/2020 15:05

We’re still 3G and quite happy I’m not paying a fortune for data I don’t need or use.

But I’d rather stick with the perfectly adequate 4G that we have instead of 5G

The world moves on, I'm sure the same was said about electricity and indoor plumbing

NoMorePoliticsPlease · 08/04/2020 15:07

Save your questions for something that matters

Rebelwithallthecause · 08/04/2020 15:20

It’s curtains - 5g isn’t brand new to us in this country since the COVID outbreak
Its been here for over a year in certain areas.

If someone can’t explain why the areas that have had 5g since beginning of last year didn’t have COVID outbreaks then then I don’t have much time for the conspiracy theorists

Same with the ones who can’t explain why it’s so bad in Sleepy villages in Italy where there is no 5G yet

I live not far from London.
We don’t have 5g here yet but we have a high number of cases and deaths already

I also find it terribly insulting to be told this disease doesn’t exist and is just a reaction to 5g when there are family members suffering, our own Prime Minister is in intensive care.

Trump originally said it was fake and he’s having to turn around now and realise he was wrong.

CousinKrispy · 08/04/2020 15:52

Mindproject, citizens/human beings have rights, but we also have responsibilities.

mindproject · 08/04/2020 15:54

I agree. We have a right to demand the truth and a responsibility to tell the truth, as we see it.

Gilead · 08/04/2020 15:59

We have a right to demand the truth and a responsibility to tell the truth, as we see it.
So if 5G is totally harmless and you choose not to believe that, you will go on demanding it until you get a truth you do like? Hmm

Windyone · 08/04/2020 15:59

Why don’t people spend time improving their minds while locked down instead of reading and spouting this nonsense. Loads of great free courses available

mindproject · 08/04/2020 16:03

Why are you making assumptions about what I'm going to do? Weird.

mindproject · 08/04/2020 16:04

How do you improve your mind Windy?

midgebabe · 08/04/2020 16:10

I can't be bothered googling for you but independent studies have been done which show no risks. If I recall correctly, they did lead to a limit on transmit power in the handset as a theoreticial head heating risk was identified

Although of course you are totally correct, they won't have looked for the potential virus being emitted from the base station , because that is so far into sci fi...and I mean way beyond star trek ( which was always keen to Stress that you canna break the laws of physics ) ....

mindproject · 08/04/2020 16:35

Well I don't think the conspiracy theorists are suggesting that anyway. They seem to be saying that the multiple waves of 5G affect the cells in your brain and body, which in turn causes disease, a bit like radiation poisoning. Which sounds a little bit less like science fiction.

midgebabe · 08/04/2020 16:50

Er...so you are saying that the newly detected virus
that just happened to have been detected in all victims
and just happened to emerge at the same time and places as the deaths ,
unlike 5G which has been around for about a year but only in a limited number of locations

Is purely a coincidence?

Never mind the illogical ness of the disease path you you suggest

thepeopleversuswork · 08/04/2020 17:01

mindproject

But covid-19 is a communicable disease. Which has been identified in almost every country in the world. While 5G is limited to a small number of locations.

There are some plausible claims that telecoms infrastructure can cause some cancers but this is a virus. At the most basic level it just doesn't add up.

Finally -- and I've asked you this several times before and you haven't responded. Who actually benefits from this?

In a best case scenario this will trip most of the most developed economies into years-long recessions and governments will have to spend trillions to bail out companies and people who have lost their livelihoods.

The only people who could conceivably stand to benefit from this are certain pharmaceutical companies. How can anyone associated with 5G benefit? Any investment earmarked for 5G is likely to disappear for decades.

If you had a conspiracy theory about pharma you might at least have a plausible motive for this (and there are plenty of bollocks conspiracy theories about pharma to choose from).

I've said it before and I'll repeat it. To be plausible, there has to be someone who can benefit from a conspiracy. No-one associated with 5G stands to benefit from this.

Just think it through before you grab any old shite off YouTube. You'll see it doesn't stack up.

WakeAndBake · 08/04/2020 17:45

Ever heard of the Tuskegee experiments?

Basically the US government purposefully infected 1000’s of people over decades with syphillis to see what would happen. People died, were sickened and suffered greatly. Can you believe ‘they’ would do that?

Ever heard of project Northwoods where the CIA planned on committing terror acts on US soil in order to get the public on-side for a war. Can you believe ‘they’ would do that?

Frequency · 08/04/2020 17:54

The tuskagee experiment was brutal and brought about the change in medical ethics, however they did not deliberately infect anyone, they followed the lives and health of men already infected whilst refusing to give them a diagnosis or proper treatment.

Project Northwood proposed fake attacks not real ones and was rejected.

I think it's about time we started rules about responsible use of the Internet and providing mandatory education for those who abuse the Internet by propagating fake news (only half joking)

mindproject · 08/04/2020 18:08

I don't have any answers. I've only just started looking into it. I'm new to it all.

As to motives, well the psychopathic elites of the world don't really think or behave like normal people? Psychopaths love control, they love instilling fear in people, they love to harm people and they love to watch them suffer.

Maybe they want to depopulate. Maybe they just want control over everything and everyone with the use of technology. Maybe they want our children. The mega rich will not be losing any money or freedoms like the rest of us, they will be gaining, they always do.

WakeAndBake · 08/04/2020 18:09

@frequency. What do you mean fake attacks? The plan was to really kill people!

“”The proposals called for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other U.S. government operatives to both stage and actually commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets,[2] blaming them on the Cuban government, and using it to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed in the document included the possible assassination of Cuban immigrants, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas[2], hijacking planes to be shot down or given the appearance of being shot down[2], blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.[3] The proposals were rejected by President John F. Kennedy.[4][5][6]””
