I'm so sorry you're having such a tricky morning Dianne. I found on the worst days, the best thing I could do was distract myself. I read a lot of "light" books during that time. I made myself go to a book rather than look at news or statistics.
One I particularly enjoyed was "The Trials and Triumphs of Grace Atherton" by Anstey Harrjs.
I also used the 54321 grounding technique people have described earlier in the thread when I was feeling really panicky.
Here's the guardian good news round up. Whilst there's nothing hugely new in terms of treatments etc, scientists are working away and lots of trials are underway - I read somewhere, don't think it was this article - that some results are due on anti-malarial and HIV treatment drugs on the 15th April.
