Horehound · 02/04/2020 17:53

Cuddling57 · 02/04/2020 17:53

I thought they were reading mumsnet a few weeks ago! I'm sure Boris reads the trashy newspapers!

Eeyoresstickhouse · 02/04/2020 17:57

Robert Peston got 2 questions! They must be looking at this thread 😂😂

IronNeonClasp · 02/04/2020 17:57

I don't like him. I don't believe any of them. But I don't generally like UK politicians they are AmDram. I'd vote for Justin Trudeau.

@MurrayTheMonk hope you are home now.
@CrunchyCarrot thank you.

This is all very worrying and still being played down...

MarshaBradyo · 02/04/2020 18:03

They have expanded quickly at least which is good

HeIenaDove · 02/04/2020 18:04

Eddie Large has died

I remember Little and Large being on TV when i was growing up.

slartibarti · 02/04/2020 18:06

That was annoying, couldn't the weather wait until he'd answered the question? Angry

MarshaBradyo · 02/04/2020 18:07

I’ve got LBC on now still going

SabineSchmetterling · 02/04/2020 18:09

I’m watching on YouTube. It’s still going.

Namechangervaver · 02/04/2020 18:10

Don't worry, you didn't miss anything. I was watching on Sky and they stayed with it. He basically didn't answer the question of why he managed to get a test when front line NHS workers can't.Hmm

Lumene · 02/04/2020 18:10

Reassured by Matt Hancock in the briefing. He seems on top of things and more honest about what the actual issues are.

Shows up Boris by a mile.

Namechangervaver · 02/04/2020 18:11

And the fucking journalists didn't press him on it Angry

Lumene · 02/04/2020 18:11

I'd vote for Justin Trudeau.

Justin Trudeau is as bad or worse than most.

Noideareally2 · 02/04/2020 18:13

basically didn't answer the question of why he managed to get a test when front line NHS workers can't convenient place for the BBC to switch over, that

mrshoho · 02/04/2020 18:15

quite @Noideareally2 makes me very suspicious BBC!!

pocketem · 02/04/2020 18:19

And the fucking journalists didn't press him on it
Their microphones are cut after they've asked the question so they can't ask follow up questions

CricketCrocket · 02/04/2020 18:31

I'd vote for Justin Trudeau.

What, Justin ‘I can’t recall how many times I’ve worn black face’ Trudeau?

CharlieTangoBanana · 02/04/2020 18:36

I have respiratory failure, my carers are not coming in due to issues with them being off sick and strangers coming in who knew nothing about my equipment, how it operates or more importantly how to clean, sterilise and set it up.
We took the decision that DH should take over all of my care as he is in the 12 week category too.
We had one carer who was coming in to do other tasks related to my care but she is now isolating for 14 days due to contact with a case awaiting testing.

I didn't get the NHS letter confirming that I'm in the extremely vulnerable group but did get a phone call from my respiratory team, GP and CHC commissioning manager checking that I'd got a letter.
I registered on the government portal as a vulnerable person but have heard nothing.

We are fine for food this week, there is a local volunteer group but they are only collecting shopping from the local farm shop delicatessen/butcher where the food is very expensive. We will be fine but I fear for the old people with limited incomes, I had a lovely 86 yr old phone me this afternoon saying she had no food for her cat, the only think the volunteer group could offer was a nice piece of fish from the fresh fish van when it visits the farm shop tomorrow! I absolutely despair the whole system from government down to middle class do gooders who have no concept of shopping on a budget is a complete shit show.

Sorry for the rant, needed to vent and nowhere else to do it.
