Has anyone had this yet?

I notice the wording in their initial email is "starting tomorrow". So maybe only the first group gets emailed today, second tomorrow, etc.

I guess I'm keeping the Asda delivery slot I managed to get...

Yes, I got the smart pass email. The last 2 days though when I have got to the end of virtual queue, I get an error message and can't edit my order. Hopefully, the priority queue will be better.

I haven't- I am a smartness customer and got yesterdays email. I do have a delivery booked for next friday already though, so might not get one today and just had todays delivery come 2 hours early! Only 2 missing items and 3 subs so very happy customer at the moment. I will not starve this week!

I haven’t had it yet, I’ve been in the queue since this morning, about 60,000th now but it says the queue is paused.

What does the email say?

Haven't got the email but been queuing since 7am to edit my order next week. Annoyingly the queue has been paused since about 11.40am and I have no idea if/when it's going to move!

I’ve had the smartpass email but not the email giving me priority to book. My mum has though, even though she has a couple of slots booked in already (so she’s not going to book another one). But she’s in her 70s. Maybe that’s how they are doing it?

I’d like to edit my order for next week but can’t as the queue is paused.

Yes I had it. Got the email to say I was good to go this morning but it’s not working very well!

Waited in the queue for half an hour, which was fine, then the site was super slow. Finally managed to get on and out my groceries in the basket but then found I couldn’t check out because no delivery slots at all. Not a single one. I checked a few times.

Then, as I was contemplating what to do next I got kicked out of the site and seem to be back at th back of the queue with a wait time of “more than an hour”

I mean, is it even worth the effort. Am tempted to just go to the bloody shops!!

I am upset that they aren’t giving priority to those on the extremely vulnerable list who can’t leave their homes.

I wish I had used a variety of supermarkets rather than being a loyal Ocado shopper for over a decade. Other supermarkets are prioritising their existing customers who are on the extremely vulnerable list.

I have a delivery booked to arrive Monday night, but I am guessing it is going to be cancelled as it was booked via Ocado Reserved. If it is, I don’t know how else we can get food and we will definitely have run out of anything fresh by then.

When I filled in the registration on the gov website, I said I had a means to access food, but I meant Ocado! I guess I probably don’t now, but don’t think there is any way to change my registration.

How are supermarkets supposed to tell who is on the vulnerable list? My account is in my name - it doesn't tell them both sets of parents live with us 3 over 70, 1 over 80 all with underlying high risk health conditions or that I am 6 months pregnant.

They would have to set up a whole new process identifying those customers/ assessing competing need/ prioritising over existing customers against commercial interest - they are doing the best they can in v difficult circs to pick a system that might work especially limiting those to 1 a week and encouraging people to use it to help out others where possible.

@NotAnotherUserNumber but if you are a longstanding Ocado customer, and you use Ocado reserved then you must have a Smartpass and be one of the customers that will get a priority access to ocado, as per their email yesterday.

I got an email yesterday which said I had priority access. I went to the site yesterday and was able to get straight in without queuing at all, fo the first time since the queuing started.

I had a look just now and there is a queue today but "only" 3702, estimating 9 minutes.

I just looked and there’s nearly 400,000! They seem to have good days and bad days (don’t we all!)
Still waiting for my priority email, but I do have a reserved slot that looks like it might still be coming next week.... so more than happy to wait, I’ve been lucky wit getting slots so don’t plan to get another one for a fortnight after that.

@FreakStar They have divided all the smartpass customers into groups and I think there is some sort of lottery aspect to it. I haven’t had a priority access email yet. Just bad luck I suppose.

@Nubbin I emailed Ocado to tell them I am on the registered extremely vulnerable list. They replied to say that it has been noted on my account. But as I understand it they aren’t prioritising this way (unlike Sainsbury’s and Waitrose for example), so I don’t think it will make any difference.

@Bridgeofpies we won’t starve, we probably have a week or so more food in the back of the cupboard, we just don’t have any fresh food. Unfortunately I don’t live near family or close friends, but I am sure we will work something out. There will be many people in a far worse situation than me, it just annoys me that Ocado could be helpful but aren’t.

If you are a smart pass then you will get the priority email and be able to book - they are just doing it in batches. It doesn't make you more of a priority or less - the delivery slots are allocated per batch so there will be one when it comes if you want it.

Unprecedented times and people are doing their best with logistical nightmares and a population that aren't helping by stock piling/ multi editing/ joining queues when they don't have slots etc.

@NotAnotherUserNumber If you already have a delivery booked in the next 7 days then that explains why you haven't been sent a time to book. I haven't had one either. I don't think they are cancelling recent reserved orders- I had one order delivered today and have another for next Friday which I have already checked out so I'm sure they will honour it.

@NotAnotherUserNumber I would just sit tight and wait for your Monday order- they will probably let you access the site tomorrow or Sunday to edit it too! They were letting people on to edit around 48 hours before their order was due.

I got it late afternoon. Had to queue for a couple of mins and got a delivery for 7th April .

Similar experience to op just above me, received email late afternoon, queued for 3 minutes, placed order for next available day, which is the week after next. I was really pleased with how it worked.

I had a text this morning saying I could access the site today. I waited in the queue and then was kicked off on to a screen saying the queue was suspended and I couldn’t get back on.

I’ve given up now.
