Has anyone had this yet?

I notice the wording in their initial email is "starting tomorrow". So maybe only the first group gets emailed today, second tomorrow, etc.

I guess I'm keeping the Asda delivery slot I managed to get...

They've paused their whole website now. Message now reads;

"Updated at 7pm, Friday March 27th

We will have no delivery slots available for general release for the next 48 hours as we prioritise some deliveries (including our identified vulnerable customers).

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to edit orders for Saturday and Sunday. If you have an order for Monday or Tuesday, please come back on Sunday morning.

Please do not queue to edit other orders at the moment."

Praying that this means they are finally going to give priority to people on the NHS extremely vulnerable list.

tootyfruitypickle · 28/03/2020 09:56

Maybe they should just stop editing. I know when they started up I just would do a shop and leave it. It’s a fairly new thing editing all the time (I do this!). But if they just said everyone can go in do a shop and book a delivery (as in real supermarket!) it would probably mean no queues!!

viccat · 28/03/2020 10:00

Had mine yesterday afternoon, got onto the website pretty much immediately (after an initial error message) and booked a delivery for the 9th. There were lots of available slots for the week beginning the 6th - most slots most days, until the 11th, still available to choose from at that time.

CrunchyCarrot · 28/03/2020 10:01

I thought I had a delivery booked (nearly typed 'devilry' and it's beginning to feel like it!) for this coming week but I can't find any record of it in my emails, apparently it's for 7th April.

I haven't had 'the email' as yet so hope it comes through today.

fedupfrida · 28/03/2020 10:03

@viccat - what email did you receive please? Regarding the 'extremely vulnerable' shielded folk or for Smart Pass people?

Aurorie11 · 28/03/2020 10:11

Still waiting for the email but had an email to say they've taken the smart pass payment.
Desperate for further deliveries as I'm shopping for 3 vulnerable households, 2 of which have had their letters and waiting for neighbours to ask. Me and DH are both key workers but wfh currently ( could change) plus attempting to home school 2 kids who need supervision. I thought lockdown and no out of school activities would mean lots of spare time, but even less than usual, so I don't know when would have the time to go to the shops for 4/5 households (11/13 people) and deliver to them. None of the households we are supporting have ever shopped online so wouldn't be identified as vulnerable customers by online shopping providers, so reliant on us getting slots and buying for them as there's no way I could get an online slot on my account for them.

supadupapupascupa · 28/03/2020 10:17

No emails or other notifications here. Tried to get in in last half hour and got straight in no queue. Edited tuesdays order no problem and booked a a lot for the following week. I could cry, this is helping two isolating households.

viccat · 28/03/2020 10:17

@fedupfrida Smart Pass email.

It said:
"You have the rest of the day to place and check out your order. After that, you may not be able to access the priority queue again until next week.
We’ve opened slots for at least the next seven days, and will continue to release new availability at regular intervals. Please be aware that there is still high demand, and you may not see full availability for all time slots.
We urge you to place an order and check out everything you need in one go. We may need to bring forward the cut-off time for editing your order if we run out of capacity for your delivery day (this may be up to 72 hours before delivery.)"

supadupapupascupa · 28/03/2020 10:18

I swear there's a regional dimension to this. I seem to be having fewer problems than most but we live in lincolnshire. I think our depot is Sheffield

fedupfrida · 28/03/2020 11:37

@viccat thanks for that.
I’m so sad they seem to be prioritising smart pass holders over extremely vulnerable list people ☹️ my dd is an organ transplant patient and we’ve been told not to go out at all. None of us. I’m praying we hear from them today as we’ve emailed them twice with the information.
If they’re prioritising profit here they’ll be losing my long standing custom.
Good luck everyone x

FreakStar · 28/03/2020 16:17

I just checked the Ocado website and it's put me in a short queue saying I have priority access to the website- not got an email from them though so try logging on everyone if you are waiting for the email!

supadupapupascupa · 28/03/2020 18:42

Me too! I'm in lincolnshire and think there are regional differences

FreakStar · 28/03/2020 18:47

I'm near the Birstall warehouse in West Yorkshire!

ironicname · 28/03/2020 19:48

I had an email for priority. I logged straight in and even got a slot for tomorrow! All done in 15 minutes x

ironicname · 28/03/2020 19:49

Don't know where the x came from.
