Re hair, make up, clothes? Or is everyday a pyjama day?

OP posts:
DubiousGoals · 26/03/2020 14:18

Washed (including hair) and dressed, but in old jeans, slipper socks and vest. No makeup on but I've got powder and red lippy on my desk in case of short-notice video meetings.

Siameasy · 26/03/2020 14:41

Am covered in mud and hair looks crazed so even lower standards than usual. It doesn’t feel important at the moment.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 26/03/2020 14:45

I'm having to do video calls with students, so every day am just doing my usual routine of shower, dress, hair, makeup. On non-work days then I'm showering and washing my hair, but wearing "lounge-wear".

I feel like I need to keep some sort of routine and keep looking decent for the sake of my mental health, tbh.

LuxuryWoman2020 · 26/03/2020 14:46

Usual shower and hair wash, a little make up and comfortable but neat clothes. Life hasn’t changed a great deal for me really. I am having an extra hour of lazy for everyone as there’s no morning rush for school, may as well benefit from an extra hour of sleep.

sassbott · 26/03/2020 14:49

Washing and dressing every day. Spritz of perfume but zero make up. Zero smart clothes (normally uber smart for work). Scruffy jeans/ loungewear/ comfy is the way forward here.

Wannabegreenfingers · 26/03/2020 15:03

Showering every day, but hair just in a pony tail - but that's also because my dd has brought home some very stubborn nits, so until the blighters are gone I'm keeping it up and out the way.

No make up and generally comfy clothes, only put on pj's in the evening once kids in bed to relax.

Exercising twice a day - Joe Wicks PE and 2 laps round the park - so about a mile and half.

I'm still making the kids (7&9) get up and dressed and clean teeth before we start the school day at 9....

Giggorata · 26/03/2020 15:06

Shower as usual and wearing non work clothes, like leggings, as I'm WFH.
Not bothering with make up and I’ve taken all my (many) rings off, for the constant hand washing. I had my hair cut and layered a bit about a fortnight before I self isolated, so it'll have to do for a while.
For economy, if I get chilly, I’m wearing my hooded dressing gowns that look very Harry Potter, rather than putting on the heating during the day.

SecretWitch · 26/03/2020 15:07

Shower, teeth, yoga pants, tshirt and perfume. I don’t wear make up unless I’m going out, which is never now.

megletthesecond · 26/03/2020 15:09

Dressed and washed. Work top on (in case of Skype call). No contact lenses though.

wonkylegs · 26/03/2020 15:17

I'm letting my 3yo pick his and my outfits for the day - today I'm in a bright blue dress, jade green cardi & gold shoes
Generally his picks are much brighter than my usual black & grey work clothes

FourTeaFallOut · 26/03/2020 15:20

Got washed, got dressed, changed into PJ's, now I'm back in bed. I feel like shit. I'm hoping it's a chest infection.

Chrisinthemorning · 26/03/2020 15:24

Standards of cleanliness as usual so shower every morning and sometimes an evening bath
I wear jeans if leaving the house (walk/shop) but otherwise trackie SMA and a hoody.
Not PJs though, DS is in and out of the garden all day.

insertcaffeine · 26/03/2020 15:32

I haven't been but have decided to. I need structure in my day so I began that this morning with a shower and a red lip.

I'm planning on dying my hair tonight because my roots are at least an inch long now.

Nquartz · 26/03/2020 15:34

We're showered, dressed, hair & teeth brushed everyday but DD generally is only ready by 10am.

No make up though, hair up so not straightening it.

On work video calls there are is a mix of made up faces, dressing gowns, one bloke in a head band so in my experience it's a real mix.

Nquartz · 26/03/2020 15:34

But we're all in joggers, I haven't worn jeans for 2 weeks (bliss)

FlamingoAndJohn · 26/03/2020 15:39

I’m getting up slightly later than normal whenever the cat wakes me up. Out for a run and then washed, dressed and breakfasted in time to start work at 9am.

SimonJT · 26/03/2020 15:39

We have been in SI for 12 days, I have only worn pants apart from two occasions, one was a video conference so I wore pants and shirt, the other was a trip to the pharmacy so I wore shorts and t-shirt.

My hair is done as usual everyday and stuck to my usual beard grooming, but did add in an awful handlebar moustache a few days ago, still rocking it.

Megan2018 · 26/03/2020 15:45

Showered and dressed every morning. No make up but rarely wear it anyway.

I am being slightly less fastidious about changing clothes (not underwear!!) to save on number of washes, so some tops are getting a second wear etc and definitely sticking to comfies.

LoadsaBlusher · 26/03/2020 16:14

Up , washed , dressed , only wearing face make up no eye make up.

Kids all up dressed , washed by 9

I’m showering twice a day as normal just because I like to be super clean and putting all my nice lotions on before bed is a tiny wee uplifting thing to do

Not wearing my usual mom jeans / blouse combo tho it’s leggings and baggy tee everyday

SteakFrites · 26/03/2020 16:15

Showered and dressed every day, but not wearing make up or styling hair etc. It’s a blessed relief!

FuckOffCorona · 26/03/2020 16:26

I’m showering and getting dressed every day but not bothering to do makeup. It’s a nice break for my skin this way.

MoltoAgitato · 26/03/2020 16:27

Top half dressed, bottom half may be in pyjamas.

Eckhart · 26/03/2020 16:35

@CaptainMarvelDanvers

I have PCOS, I’m seeing how long I can grow my beard

I'm not sure how funny this is for you, but coffee came out of my nose when I read it!

LolaSmiles · 26/03/2020 16:38

We are clean and dressed, but nothing special. We aren't big on dressing up as a family though.

ChateauMyself · 26/03/2020 16:59

For this season’s look, I’m channeling ‘The Dude’.
