Messed up the bold.

Radio alarm kicks in at 6.45am as programmed. Twenty minute lie in whilst listening to music then the news.

My husband gets out of bed and goes into the bathroom for a shave. I get out of bed, put my contact lenses in and get dressed. I go and get breakfast ready.

My husband gets dressed and helps me sort breakfast.

We eat our breakfast together. Either he or I will clear up and do the washing up after breakfast.

At around 8.30am my husband goes into the study as he's WFH presently. My job ended on Tuesday so I'm doing, 'wife work' but I'll be exercising at home and in the garden so I've got my P.E. kit on. I still call it that.

My husband is presently sorting his own lunch of healthy sandwiches and healthy soup.

I've got a baked potato cooking in the oven. He's just having a short lunch break today so I'm going to do a work out to an exercise dvd then a You Tube, 'back garden boot camp' exercise.

I'm about to iron my linen napkins ready for dinner tonight, and have already polished my crystalware, sherry copitas for aperos and white wine flutes.

AuntieMarys · 26/03/2020 12:41

No pjs. Up, exercise, shower. I'm leaving off makeup but wearing perfume every day as usual.

LittleRen · 26/03/2020 12:47

I am doing hair and makeup, but wearing a nice tracksuit instead of normal clothes. For me it's important to keep a routine going, I feel more productive.

AliasGrape · 26/03/2020 12:47

Washed and dressed every day so far, but dressed in leggings and t-shirt type clothes, partly because I’m not going anywhere but mainly because I’m 22 weeks pregnant and jeans/ any smarter stuff not fitting.

Hair washed and left to dry with no attempt at styling. It dries perfectly fine though, bit wavy but looks reasonable. No make up but that’s also because pregnancy has turned my skin to shit so I’m trying to give it a breather.

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 26/03/2020 12:48

I have PCOS, I’m seeing how long I can grow my beard.

alloutoffucks · 26/03/2020 12:48

Been in bed ill for a week. DP wfh but still wearing work gear as on skype meetings. Kids wearing what they feel like - teenagers so I really don't care.

Wash and go is standard for me, have been heading towards the navy blue /black end of my comfy clothes and my neighbours washing lines all look the same. Key work tomorrow, planning to dress up a bit to lift my spirits (and I hope the clients too).

alphasox · 26/03/2020 12:58

Showered and dressed here but I’m not blow drying my hair or putting make up on. And the last two days I’ve gone bra free and it’s great... I think I’ll continue!

I probably should pluck my beard and tash but DH hasn’t mentioned it yet Grin

Still showering, getting dressed, blow drying hair and putting minimal make up each day. Trying to stick to routine as much as possible and all being ready by 8.30am like a normal week day. Also keeping up normal house standards - emptying dishwasher daily/cleaning kitchen/making beds etc.

Definitely far too much TV/phone scrolling and laziness going on though !

anothernotherone · 26/03/2020 13:04

I double checked that I wasnt accidentally about to open a Style and Beauty thread there Grin - maintaining standards is very 1949! Grin

We're all getting dressed every morning. Only change is I change into my pyjamas when I get in from work which I never would have done, but I don't want to sit down or hug the kids in the jeans and jumper I've worn at work... Jeans and jumper/ t shirt are my work "uniform" though so you can see where my standards are Grin

The teen/ tween boy children are showering less often than usual because sports training usually caused unprompted automatic evening showering at least 4 times per week but now they're only showering when told to Blush

Waxonwaxoff0 · 26/03/2020 13:08

We're showering and getting dressed every day. I'm not bothering with hair and makeup though. I use a lot of product on my hair and it's quite damaged so figured now is a good time to give it a break while I'm not working.

inwood · 26/03/2020 13:13

Showered and hair washed but I haven't worn anything but gym gear since this started.

EspressoPatronum · 26/03/2020 13:14

Clean and dressed, no make up but I don't usually anyway.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 26/03/2020 13:28

Showered and dressed but jeans and t shirt instead of work clothes. No make up but wearing perfume and rings. I've git video calls but internal only so certainly not getting dressed up!

Milomonster · 26/03/2020 13:30

Shower in morning and evening but living in pjs if not going out.

Mintjulia · 26/03/2020 13:32

Yesterday, not so much.

Today, dressed, and made an effort with hair & make up. All because the man came to service the boiler and I haven't spoken to another adult in 9 days. How sad is that Grin

Tomorrow we are having an Easter bonnet video call with work so I'll have to make an effort tomorrow as well.

adiposegirl2 · 26/03/2020 13:37

Of course everyone is.
This is mumsnet after all bares zero resemblance to what anyone in real life ACTUALLY does

Laiste · 26/03/2020 13:38

We're carrying on exactly as normal.
Up at 6, dressed and hair ect. Clean house, start DDs new home schooling. bla bla

If i slob my mental health dives.

Camomila · 26/03/2020 13:56

washed and dresssed (but in harem trousers and tee shirt) and hair brushed, no make up but I don't wear make up usually. Get DS showered and dressed every day too.

I feel more awake after a shower and we've had coughs so the steam helps with those.

BambooSurprise · 26/03/2020 13:57

Nope Blush.

I'm clean but I'm not tidy.

LargeGinOnTap · 26/03/2020 13:58

Shower and washing as usual
No makeup or jewellery
Sometimes but rarely perfume
Wearing scruffy jeans and hoddies
