Re hair, make up, clothes? Or is everyday a pyjama day?

OP posts:
JunoJigglewick · 26/03/2020 12:19

We are all dressed. And washed.

But no makeup. And hair might not be brushed.

Bluntness100 · 26/03/2020 12:20

I’m not getting all made up or anything, but I’m up, dressed, showered, hair brushed etc, some days I do put some make up on, others not, so as usual basically,

I think if you just lounge about looking like shit it is detrimental to your mental health,

Makeitgoaway · 26/03/2020 12:21

I'm showered and dressed but definitely at the scruffy end of comfortable

Playdoughbum · 26/03/2020 12:22

Clean and dressed. But trackies so I look like crap.
I have to shower every day though, wouldn’t be comfortable otherwise.

Wingedharpy · 26/03/2020 12:22

I dress for dinner every evening and get my own tiara from the safe, now that I've had to let the lady in waiting go.

Hoppinggreen · 26/03/2020 12:22

Clean and wearing clean clothes but that’s it

EL8888 · 26/03/2020 12:23

Clean and daytime clothes but no make up. I’m feeling a bit ill so motivation is poor

ilovecakeandwine · 26/03/2020 12:25

Shower every day and clean clothes but that's it , not worn any make up since Friday now.
My eyebrows badly need waxing, I may stop looking in the mirror.

bluechameleon · 26/03/2020 12:25

We all get dressed at the same sort of time as normal every day, but my hair could definitely do with a wash.

NewYearNewJob123 · 26/03/2020 12:25

What's a 'standard' in terms of hair, make up and clothes?

Igotthemheavyboobs · 26/03/2020 12:26

Showered, dressed and hair brushed. No makeup, using this as an opportunity to get my skin in better health.

Solina · 26/03/2020 12:26

I shower most days as per usual but I don't wear what I would normally wear. Mostly just comfy clothes like leggings and tshirt. No makeup but I don't usually put on makeup anyways.

ThisMustBeMyDream · 26/03/2020 12:26

Showering as normal. Most days I've put basic make up (foundation, vaseline on lips, blusher) and done my hair. Stayed in Pjs until today - reason being that my summer clothes are much more comfy than my winter jeans or dresses/tight combos. I'm in a stretchy maxi dress today with the warmer weather.

HarrietThePi · 26/03/2020 12:27

Had been getting washed and putting on fresh clothes every day, but lounge clothes not really proper clothes. Today I haven't so far, I slept in late and feel a bit miserable. Going to have a bath soon and try to perk up a bit.

CountFosco · 26/03/2020 12:29

I'm a scientist so wear jeans etc to work anyway so wearing very similar clothes. Short hair that should have been cut on Saturday, when we are allowed back at work I'll need an emergency haircut pdq! Don't wear makeup so no change there.

Falangalangadingdang · 26/03/2020 12:32

I'm still in my pyjamas but I'm contemplating going in the shower in a minute because I feel a bit revolting now.

browzingss · 26/03/2020 12:33

Clothes depend on what I’m doing. I’m working from home so actually need to look presentable at home for conference calls. I shower both AM & PM, I would feel a bit bummy putting the same PJs back on after I shower in morning, so prefer wearing a new outfit.

I’ve been trying to leave the house daily in the evening too, just for walks.

I’m wearing makeup less, and tying my hair back more. But I’m still maintaining hygiene and looking after myself in terms of skincare.

I’ve started to use bio oil to work on some scars on my legs, so hoping to see a difference on the other side!

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 26/03/2020 12:34

Don't wear make up anyways and dress casually for work so keeping a similar look for Mon-Fri. Kids are confused why I'm mak9ng them get dressed at 8am Grin

At the weekends we can look like Scruggs.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 26/03/2020 12:35

Scruffs

Iamnothappy · 26/03/2020 12:37

Well I'm up and showered every morning, brush hair, brush teeth.

But I'm just wearing leggings and a t-shirt rather than proper outdoor clothes.

YDYtrue · 26/03/2020 12:37

Still showered and dressed, but comfy bottoms rather than jeans. Actually my jeans are comfy but they’re wearing out (on knees etc) and not found any new ones to fit so I’ve been limiting their at home wear for a while now. Still wearing minimal makeup and brushing hair etc. Little two children are mostly in pyjamas though, seems too much effort to wrestle them into clothes Blush

Mixitupalot · 26/03/2020 12:37

Shower every morning & fix my hair, no makeup, not a lover of it anyway as I have very sensitive skin.

Wear my Jeggings nice t-shirt & my jewellery. I could never laze about in pjs all day I find it has a detrimental effect on my mental health if I don’t feel fresh & tidy.

Lovemusic33 · 26/03/2020 12:38

Just wearing comfy old clothes as I have been doing gardening and painting the fence. Still straightening my hair and keeping clean 🤣

GreyishDays · 26/03/2020 12:38

What's a 'standard' in terms of hair, make up and clothes?

It’s your usual standards.

EverydayLife · 26/03/2020 12:39

I am dressed and clean but it was wash and go this morning (shopping for elderly parents.)
