surely they should be happy to be alive
wash your hands
distance yourself.
stop moaning about the lack of food
this is not a rehearsal

Are you a breatharian? Hmm

Cos if not food is essential for ....living

PurpleDaisies · 22/03/2020 14:07

People don’t tend to stay alive without food.

LastTrainEast · 22/03/2020 14:08

EricaNernie Maybe you misunderstood. It's not about a shortage of someone's favourite cake. People are struggling to get basic food to stay alive.

Mysocalledlifexx · 22/03/2020 14:10

We have to feed our children im also breast feeding without a healthy diet or food my milk will dry up and nowhere has baby milk so i want to keep my milk going.its very scary thinking we may struggle to feed our children.
V happy to be alive but still want to eat.

Kmx123 · 22/03/2020 14:12

Mothers cant get baby milk or nappies people that couldnt afford to panic buy cant get basic food
Shops have also put the prices up
Disabled people and vulnerable are unable to get delivery slots
Maybe you should go to you local food bank and help out

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 22/03/2020 14:13

Oh do fuck off 🙄

People aren’t moaning there favourite goodies aren’t available, people are worried they can’t find any fresh fruit and veg, meat, tinned goods, rice, Pasta, frozen food etc to even make a basic meal for the family. Why can’t they because a few greedy cunts went out and got huge amounts of stuff

EricaNernie · 22/03/2020 14:18

however there is so much emphasis on empty shelves, it is doing my head in.
but i will fuck off

people are dying of a virus, not through hunger

ListenLinda · 22/03/2020 14:20

Are you stupid OP?

FAQs · 22/03/2020 14:22

A tad patronising OP...

daisypond · 22/03/2020 14:23

Some people are hungry. We are down to eating once a day and cups of tea to fill the hole. I hope things get sorted soon.

SallyLovesCheese · 22/03/2020 14:26

They will be dying of hunger if the government doesn't help supermarkets sort out this mess. Food shortage is a real concern right now because there are selfish fuckers doing what they can to "cheat" the system and get as much food as they can.

YeahRiiiiight · 22/03/2020 14:27

It’s frightening to go in to a supermarket with empty shelves and worry if it’s going to get worse, what will happen if it does, how you will feed your kids? How your elderly or sick relatives will have enough to eat?

Surely you can understand that fear.

Wannabangbang · 22/03/2020 14:35

I'm finding it hard, i have five kids to feed and its really hard to get enough essentials to keep us going for more than a day which are healthy and natural. Junk food is a plenty and mostly all that's available. I can't risk keep going out not when I'm a single parent and all the delivery slots are taken.

Its a choice of either live on unhealthy crap, no meat, no potaoes, no rice, no pasta, no flour, no eggs, no bread, no fruit, no salad, pay alot more money to get it locally or keep risking catching corona by going out every day very early to get a bag of supplies.

And this is all because of hoarders and their pure selfishness that im worried for my families healthy.
Eating unhealthily whilst this crisis goes on won't help us get over coronavirus should we catch it so yes im allowed to be bloody worried.

Don't be a pleb

EricaNernie · 22/03/2020 14:39

does no one have greengrocers?
garages?

i am concerned about buying food for my dm who has to avoid the shops but it seems to be so much of people's priority currently, more so than the actual coronovirus

Biscuit
Wannabangbang · 22/03/2020 14:40

Nope none near me that are walking distance. For now i have to stick to local very expensive shop and get there as soon as it opens just in hope of getting a loaf of bread or some fruit etc

BarbedBloom · 22/03/2020 14:41

Nope, no green grocers here. They were all in the market which has closed. The local butchers have completely run out of meat as when people see empty shelves they go to next option. My local corner shop is now rationing milk, bread and various other things to one per customer

Wannabangbang · 22/03/2020 14:42

And yes it does have to do with coronavirus, it isn't good to have to keep going out where other people are just to feed my family. But because of selfish hoarders thats the reality

middleager · 22/03/2020 14:42

God your post stinks. It really does.

PristineCondition · 22/03/2020 14:43

Fuck off.
People cant eat and your being a twat about it why?

Cacaca · 22/03/2020 14:45

Oh do shut up. People need food to live - don’t you realise green grocers and local shops have also been decimated? My local butcher had to shut as stock was completely wiped out.

Wannabangbang · 22/03/2020 14:48

Think starvation is going to be a real thing to kill people first, especially those on 6 week waits for universal credits and those that are self employed, sacked, made redundant etc

YeahRiiiiight · 22/03/2020 14:50

I live in London with many, many shops nearby. It’s still been a real struggle for over a week now.

This virus is really highlighting to be who the selfish, smug, lacking in compassion arseholes in our society are.

RhymingRabbit3 · 22/03/2020 14:50

surely they should be happy to be alive
Not if they wont be alive soon due to lack of food
