What large corporate companies are not paying their staff?

I have seen other threads about specific companies not paying their staff and closing the doors.
I would really like if we can create a list of companies who are paying and who are not.
Nespresso emailed to say stores closing but staff being paid
Home bargains are paying staff to self isolate AND any staff who don't will get 2 weeks pay later in the year
Whose doing good by their people and who isn't?
I want to make sure when all this is over, companies are repaid with my business in the way they treat their staff.

Euro Car Parts aren’t paying for self isolation of if you’re in the high risk category. Last week I was told that if someone in your household has symptoms but you feel ok you’re to come into work.

Man Utd are paying their casual match day staff for 3 months - £1m

Man Utd and Man City have jointly today donated £100k to help the food banks in Manchester.

Fantastic - thanks all for sharing
I think the football community has been fantastic, Chelsea and Gary Neville from Salford city are all allowing NHS staff to stay
Does anyone know about Jo Malone or Bobbi Brown?
I believe Weatherspoons have come off badly for staff treatment

Many companies who have their workforce on zero hours don't actually have to sack or not pay people ,they just won't give them any hours and its all contractually sound. So we probably won't even get to hear about it.

Can someone confirm if Zara staff were laid off without pay? I used to shop there a lot, but never will again as they make enormous profits and the owner is one of the richest men in the world. They could have held on for the rescue package, or paid staff a proportion of their wages for 3 months.

FoggyNelson · 21/03/2020 19:14

At least one Frankie & Bennie's in my city have fired all their staff. Unsure if it's a company policy, as apparently some are still open.

DianaT1969 · 21/03/2020 19:17

We know that Topshop laid off their staff, but I was boycotting them anyway.

Ann summers paying staff till end of april according to a email from the CEO.

shirleyschmidt · 21/03/2020 19:28

Caroline Hirons is praising the saints and shaming the sinners on her IG stories!! Really interesting viewing...

AmIAWeed · 21/03/2020 19:31

I've just read on my local FB page that white stuff are closing stores but the staff member said 'don't worry, head office are looking after us'

So I can get lacy pants from Ann summers and clothes from White stuff!

I can confirm TUI categorically has not made any redundancies (save for not taking on some summer posts) and a pay deal has been agreed with all employees which is generous in the circumstances. Please stop posting fake news unless you know the circumstances as it harms already vulnerable companies and their employees.

Next, won't close, brought sale forward by 1 week, staff went crazy, then told customers it was online only

AteAllTheAfterEights · 21/03/2020 19:36

USC (part of sports direct) are paying their vulnerable staff for 12 weeks at home. I was pleasantly surprised given his reputation

Stellaris22 · 21/03/2020 19:38

Co Op are paying vulnerable staff to social distance (not work) for 12 weeks or isolate for 14 days. Currently a big recruitment drive though.

What about John Lewis staff in towns that don’t have a Waitrose?

itsallabouttobegin · 21/03/2020 19:45

Pandora closed today and are paying contracted hours for up to 8 weeks

swapsicles · 21/03/2020 19:55

We're getting full pay but to get that we have to go in and work, deep cleaning and the like.
We'd be better off at home but need our wages so go in risking ourselves.
Those who are at high risk etc have been sent home on sick pay and I think someone kicked off that it wasn't fair which I agree with but that then stopped the original plan of a few coming in to clean then going home when done, instead there's lots of us hanging around socializing, I'd kick up a fuss but don't want to end up with nothing Confused

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 21/03/2020 20:13

Admiral Insurance are giving people full pay regardless of if you have Coronavirus, are self isolating or not working due to childcare issues.
They sent all vulnerable / high risk staff home last week.
They are setting up as many people as possible to WFH. Also sending out updates including one asking staff to nominate local charities / schemes to help people so they can donate funds soon (they did similar for the recent floods).
As someone who is technically vulnerable the way they've handled this is amazing and I'm very grateful.

delilahbucket · 21/03/2020 20:16

Santander are paying staff they have sent home as high risk and all other staff on reduced hours due to the new branch opening hours.

ruddydogg · 21/03/2020 20:22

Excellent idea, OP. I was just talking to husband about this today. I hope the info travels far and wide!

Oblomov20 · 21/03/2020 20:32

What about Virgin? 8 weeks unpaid leave?

Ginnymweasley · 21/03/2020 20:36

Britannia group also own pontins in prestatyn and they have fired everyone there as well.

PriscillaPresley · 21/03/2020 20:44

Well done to all the companies doing the right thing.

And to the rest of them, shame on you! Stop paying your millions to your directors and look after your staff!

And I say this as the owner of a small business who is going to make damn sure my staff don't lose out in any way, even if it means reducing my own income to compensate them.
