Lucky enough to have a Tesco delivery tomorrow. Will it have anything on it?

As the title says. I'm worried it's going to turn up with nothing on it. Online it says they will not be doing substitutions.

From the news it looks like stores are empty? We are self isolating so I'm panicking a little. We are definitely going to be in trouble without it.
Anyone had a delivery in the last 24 hours?

I would love a delivery but they are all booked up again. I keep checking.

I wish there was a waiting list itms

Had a Sainsbury order delivered last night, missing only 4 (high demand) items, so pleasantly surprised. Will bey last delivery for some time, despite having a pass. There simply aren't the slots available anymore. I was lucky enough to book yesterday's several weeks ago.

Deliver was fine! Just half the wine missing Shock! A different brand of bread, a larger bag of flour!, different Easter eggs.

The wine wasn't substituted...

Delivery driver left it on doorstep in bags and quickly ran away bless her! I had said we were isolating.

I have a deliver saver and I can't see further ahead than the 10th. When I check each morning and evening, the next day has been released but is already full.
I did manage to book a click and collect though.

Surely stores will close and they will go to completely click and collect and delivery?

To the PP who said don't check order beforehand. I strongly suggest you do before 23.46 the day before. Otherwise you won't get the chance to find alternatives? When I checked my order this morning before delivery, it said quite a bit was out of stock so was fearing the worse. Nice surprise.

Thanks everyone. I'm sorry to those that had bad experiences. If it helps, my dds are driving me to open the bottom of wine despite it being only one of two in the house! 9 days of isolation now and we are all ready to kill each other.

dottydalluly I'm on the same plan but it only gives me to 11th and all slots are gone for delivery and collection. I wonder why I can't see as far ahead?!

dottydally · 22/03/2020 20:51

@awkwardbuttons how strange! This is what I can see, click and collect is the same (but you can get slots from the 14th)

I thought the idea in not going back in meant that anything that was out of stock at cut off would still get substituted or may arrive in store tomorrow before the order is picked. If you look again and have to recheck out then those items would be removed and not subbed and there may not be enough left in stock to order. I don't know if this is true though. Op were you able to add a lot before cut off yesterday?
