Got paint coming as well as stencils so we can paint DS’s room

Got some different paint coming for a DIY furniture project

Might order some seeds and compost

Got some fabric coming so I can make blinds

What about you?

Lego. Lots of Lego.

Paint for the bathroom and kitchen.

Workbooks for my 12 year old Grin

BigcatLittlecat · 19/03/2020 13:16

I've just got sky movies for £8 a month and I'm going to pause sky sports!

katkit · 19/03/2020 13:18

I’m dusting off the dart board, table tennis set (which goes on the kitchen table), netball post, aquabeads set, and paints.

Holdmenow · 19/03/2020 13:19

Nuffaluff · 19/03/2020 13:21

I’ve managed to get hold of a Nintendo Switch.
Will be a massive carrot to get my kids doing school work at home.

Bingeslayer · 19/03/2020 13:21

Colouring books,12.5kg of air drying clay, diamond painting kits and I've been putting off the decorating, got all the stuff here so kids will help with that.

Noworrieshere · 19/03/2020 13:21

Bingeslayer · 19/03/2020 13:24

HopefullyAnonymous · 19/03/2020 13:25

lubeybooby · 19/03/2020 13:31

A star trek uniform. The sainsburys van will be referred to as the resupply module. I am now referred to as Lieutenant. Tempted to go for Romulan eyebrows

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 19/03/2020 13:32

Did a n order from Hobbycraft. Sent it to PILs instead of home address. Now I have a coughing child and they can't visit.

clunkyinthebackend · 19/03/2020 13:34

Fence paint, a trampoline and a nintendo switch

EmrysAtticus · 19/03/2020 13:35

Garden climbing frame ordered.

AccioCake · 19/03/2020 13:37

Picked up a load of craft stuff in Asda this morning. Googly eyes, pipe cleaners, feathers, felt, glue. DC have a big age gap so finding activities that will appeal to both can be tricky.

Ordered a slide for DD. The positive to this situation is that it's given us a kick up the arse to sort the garden out.

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 19/03/2020 13:38

I've also ordered Lego!

DentalPatient · 19/03/2020 13:39

Went on Amazon to get a pc camera to do work calls and some home gym equipment. Both very difficult to get hold of now.

Lovemusic33 · 19/03/2020 13:41

So far I have bought...

Paint and a roller to paint the landing (job I keep putting off)
12 strawberry plants and 10 raspberry canes to plant.
7 bags of compost (being delivered today)
Veg seeds
Wool for knitting
Art supplies for dd2

Tempted to buy some fence paint.

I haven’t actually bought much food 😂😂

BiddyPop · 19/03/2020 13:42

I had acquired a chemistry set and a new game for fun. Some extra workbooks and resources for DD schooling. Checked I had a couple of decks of cards.

I want to get some books - I have a list to read, but I also have a large stack of unread books around the house. And I also have a large collection of various craft materials to keep me busy for months, not just days....

SilverySurfer · 19/03/2020 13:55

I have a couple of jigsaws I was given for Christmas and also bought a painting by numbers kit which looks difficult so jigsaws first I think. Otherwise it's Mumsnet and playing my online game.

My current project is trying to trying to make more room by hacking through the ice in the bottom of my chest freezer. I hit the occasional pack of food which is now obviously inedible and can't even recognise what it once was Shock

DennisReynoldsDuster · 19/03/2020 14:00

@Lovemusic33 where did you get your compost
From?

Fab ideas on here

Bookworm83 · 19/03/2020 14:06

I have a baby due in 11 days, that will keep me entertained Grin

itssquidstella · 19/03/2020 14:06

I've just been to our school library and taken out nine books: a mixture of classics I've been meaning to read for years and a couple of novels in French and Spanish that it'll take me ages to wade through.
