I haven't heard many people outraged at this. Surely they should be held to account.
Am missing something? This is not new data. We knew the percentage of coronavirus patients that needed ICU beds from other countries and the amount of ventilators the NHS have is fixed. They had months to prepare. They went revealed a completely different reckless strategy to everywhere else and then just said four days later: we've reanalysed and are going to do the same now as WHO advised /other countries with more experience. I'm seriously worried that lost days will count for thousands of lives. I work in NHS and will have to deal with this mess.

Boris Johnson will go down on history as one of the weakest and mendacious prime ministers we have ever had. We will look back on the information he has available and will realise what a lot of damage he inflicted. But as someone else said, now is the time to take action, not judge bad decisions. I just hope he orders quarantine and starts a stricter testing strategy soon.

@cucumber66 I'd have preferred something more specific for him, be it the Commons or a dedicated press conference.

Arguably what he has to say is just as important as the medical side of this.

I completely agree and argued against the herd immunity theory on here last wee. But Boris’ cheerleaders won’t hear anything against him. Fingers in the ears like with brexit.
