The papers tomorrow will say Boris will ban gatherings of 500 + and schools will have two weeks extra at Easter.

How do you know this?

MerryInthechelseahotel · 13/03/2020 22:27

Before or after the Easter holidays?

Helenj1977 · 13/03/2020 22:32

Neil Henderson on twitter. He posts the front covers of tomorrows papers...

I do wish people would back this up with a link or some factual evidence rather than just writing it and causing speculation.

Helenj1977 · 13/03/2020 22:35

Find Neil on twitter

Bsmirched · 13/03/2020 22:38

Just looked at his Twitter feed - which one says about schools closing?

Treescaper · 13/03/2020 22:39

I just looked, can’t see anything about schools? Have you got a link?

Collision · 13/03/2020 22:39

Yes
Where’s the article about schools closing?

LambriniSocialist · 13/03/2020 22:40

Came on to say I see anything on his twitter about schools closing either?

I've also looked and there is nothing. I'm really sick of people posting "information" without linking to it. It's creating more panic and uncertainty which isn't helping.

Helenj1977 · 13/03/2020 22:41

Telegraph says they're discussing schools shutting for a week either side of Easter.

bemoreeverything · 13/03/2020 22:42

Saturdays papers are giving us the results of a meeting to take place on Monday Confused

Come on. They don't know this anymore than my cat does I don't have a cat

CuntyBumpkin · 13/03/2020 22:42

So not quite what you said in your OP....

Helenj1977 · 13/03/2020 22:43

On the BBC now.

Is this the link, there is a bit about education and school closures but it implys they would cost a lot rather than they are happening, cant read as its so small, i can only see the title

Helenj1977 · 13/03/2020 22:46

They don't pluck that out of thin air...

OP posts:
snowballer · 13/03/2020 22:47

Nothing about schools yet but it is now on the news that large public gatherings are being banned

ShoppingBasket · 13/03/2020 22:48

It'll happen now that Cheltenham is over, absolute disgrace this went ahead. Every other sport was able to postpone but not horse racing.

youareoursunshine · 13/03/2020 23:07

Two key phrases: Mass gatherings could be banned in UK next week and government source...i.e just speculation and rumours

fedup21 · 13/03/2020 23:08

@Helenj1977

Schools closing-where does it actually say that?
