They haven't closed schools yet, but it could definitely be on the cards in the near future, and many children depend on free school meals. Combine that with the double blow of lost earnings for the working poor and a lot of families could be devastated even if they don't get ill.
Obviously everybody's first priority is there own family, but if you are able please think about adding an extra food bank donation next time you go shopping. Especially as if we do go to lockdown no one will be visiting shops, so donations will fall just when there needed most.
